Description

We are a B2B enterprise software company looking to hire interns for the position of Sales Development Representative (SDR). The SDR/BDR will generate new business opportunities by following proven processes to convert prospects into business accounts. You’ll learn how to identify and research lists of companies to target, and how to write emails and make telephone calls to generate new business opportunities.


The SDR will conduct high-level conversations with senior executives about issues relating to the operation, maintenance and management of their company's physical assests. The successful candidate will be strongly self-motivated, resilient, gritty, driven individual who is goal-oriented, methodical and tenacious, and can effectively interact via email, phone or social media. This position has growth potential within the sales organization, and the compensation package includes an uncapped commission structure after the successful internship.


Key Responsibilities

-Learn and execute proven processes to generate new sales leads
-Ability to work within a sales organization
-Orchestrate discussions with senior execs around their business needs
-Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects
-Use CRM tools to track and group prospects into geographic regions and industry sectors


Requirements

-An absolute desire to learn and succeed in tech sales
-6 months of sales or related market/business experience
-Experience using a CRM is a plus
-The ability to write succinct, crisp emails and a great phone manner
-Ability to work remotely
- Knowledge of any of the following industry sectors a plus: asset management, maintenance management, facility management, fleet management, marketing, content marketing, social media marketing and ERP
