Politics / Buhari Warns FG Over Anarchy by ~Bluetooth: 8:26am On May 12
LEADER of the Congress for Progressive Change, CPC, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, yesterday blamed rising mayhem in parts of Nigeria on the PDP-led government’s inability to take steps to curb insecurity in the land.
Also, the former head of state lampooned the federal administration for celebrating corruption as a way of life and devising ways of staying in power for life thereby rubbishing the tenets of democracy.
Buhari made the claims at the special national convention of the CPC convened as part of the requirements for his party to dissolve into the All Progressive Congress, APC.

To actualise the merger, two motions were moved and unanimously adopted by the party members to merge with the Action Congress of Nigeria, can, and the All Nigeria Peoples Party, ANPP, to form APC.
He accused the Jonathan administration of creating avoidable mayhem in order to cover its guilt, obscure the issues and then blame the opposition in order to deceive gullible Nigerians. But he warned that the opposition would not tolerate the mayhem or be intimidated by anyone. Buhari said, “Anarchy is knocking on the door of many sections of this country and the Federal Government has not demonstrated that it has the good sense to understand what is going on or the competence to check it.
“The nation is hopelessly adrift. But if we are to survive, this vicious cycle of violence that has engulfed this nation must be brought to an end.”
The party leader, who used the occasion to openly sympathise with the people of Borno, Yobe, Kano, Nasarawa and Benue states over the spate of mass killings in their domains, implored members of the National Assembly to take the lead in restoring peace to the country.
The former head of state described the 14 years of PDP rule in Nigeria as a period when corruption and insecurity loomed large on the horizon, breeding poverty and decay across the country.
“The government has failed in almost everything; it has proved unable to secure the nation’s internal environment, there is insecurity everywhere,” he lamented.
“There is spiralling lawlessness all over the country. There is widespread and rising poverty and unemployment across the length and breadth of the country. There is total decline in the quality of social services and an irremediable dilapidation in the nation’s socio-economic infrastructure across board.
“There is an unprecedented fall in the nation’s standard of living and an astronomical rise in the standard of dying. In short today, there is nothing going right; and we have become a nation in which nothing works as it should, that is, if it works at all. When they said they have what they call ‘Transformation Agenda’, we didn’t understand, but we now know better because, within the space of three years, they have transformed the country into a veritable wilderness, where everything that should work doesn’t; where everything that can get broken, has broken.
“They promised to give the nation credible elections; they couldn’t deliver. They promised to fight corruption, they couldn’t deliver. They promised to stop insurgence and they couldn’t deliver.”

Did you read this ?
They said the core north easily achieved this by exploiting the command structure of the military
Who is the commander in chief during the war ?

This is fu'c'king hysterics. .who tricked them if I may ask even when the head of state was yakubu Gowon a christain from plateau state in north central Nigeria ? Nowadays, every group just come up with lies just to be relevant in Nigeria even if it means using propaganda !

Politics / Re: Keke-Napep Banned From Lagos Major Highways by ~Bluetooth: 9:51am On May 11
Lagos has attained a megacity status and it must meet up with the status of that in the emerging world.Save for poverty and loss of job,it's a nice idea but issues like this,a sort of partnership with the private sectior should be initiated where the people can access funds to buy cars of their own to use as cabs.
Politics / Re: State Of Emergency May Be Declared In Borno, Yobe, Others by ~Bluetooth: 9:39am On May 11
dgitrader: what is benue and plateau doing on that list? see executive nonsense >:
Plateau should be on the list because it is the epicentre of the violence in Nigeria.
Politics / Re: State Of Emergency May Be Declared In Borno, Yobe, Others by ~Bluetooth: 9:37am On May 11
barikay: I don't know how the state of emergency works but if that will empower the military to take control of the situation then they should do it fast before more lives are lost. Though the people of the state may suffer some pains but they should endure to end this menace
Yeah a military administrator takes over and reports directly to the president, the governor and the house of assembly lose their powers throughout the state of emergency rule and the area will become a battle field for conventional warfare.
Tell your folks there to better relocate.

nerodenero: I'm beginning to feel that Lagos State Government is becoming insensitive to the plight of the masses. Why ban keke napep again? This is a pointer to the fact that Lagos is now meant for the so-called rich people with all these unnecessary measures. For many, ile ya ni yen.Ti iwaju o ba se lo,eyin ase pada si.Return-to-the-village on the mind of many!
Lagos is over-populated and it needs to be de-congested !
Politics / Re: Keke-Napep Banned From Lagos Major Highways by ~Bluetooth: 9:27am On May 11
Dude use your brain. . .do cars park in the median of a road like the tricycle above ?
Politics / Re: Human-Rights Is Silent Over Nasarawa Police Killings : Why? by ~Bluetooth: 9:22am On May 11
wirinet: Because this purely a criminal case. There is nothing human rights groups can do with a criminal organizations such as terrorist groups, drug cartels and militants. They are only effective against governments and corporate and organizations that have legal representatives.
Wrong. . .the so called NGOs won't talk because it won't serve their objectives and aims.just like in syria where the terrorists have used chemical weapon on government forces but till date, nobody is blaming them simply because they wanted Assad out of office by all means and so it doesn't matter if the rebels use chemical weapon or not.
Wait till the NGOs come to tell you that the people attacked the police in self-defense.
Politics / Re: Keke-Napep Banned From Lagos Major Highways by ~Bluetooth: 9:11am On May 11
Lagos is one of the largest megacity in the world and it shouldn't lag behind the others of its status.the fact that some things are being allowed doesn't make them right and if at any point in time government decides to change her course of policy, then no problem with that.
How safe are does tricycle at the median of the highways where trucks without brakes pass everyday ? It's the duty of a responsible government to implement laws including safety and environmental policies for the greater percentage of the population.Government will never get things done if it uses sentiment as its watch-word !
Politics / Re: State Of Emergency May Be Declared In Borno, Yobe, Others by ~Bluetooth: 8:57am On May 11
What a dunce president. The other day Obj advised him to use "carrot and stick" approach,he was tripping citing the collateral damage in the Odi and zaki biam crises and on the other hand,he refused to grant them amnesty. How else does he intends to curb the menace of boko haram ?
Boko haram are internal aggressors and only a military intervention will douse their tension.thereafter, they can come to the round-table to negotiate for peace or some sort of diplomacy.

Adedayo516: *smiles*......I don't know if there was any but do you also know if there was any?.....A air radar system?! *scoffs* it would only detect/show the position of the aircraft in the terminal area(guess you know that).....an air radar won't show if an aircraft is loaded with IEDs or not.
Dude let's worry about the helicopter first before the IEDs
I won't believe you until the Nigerian Army authenticates that they are buying the parts from Alaba and Ladipo markets

Politics / Re: Corporal Enugu: Informant To The Ombaste Militia (Picture) by ~Bluetooth: 11:51pm On May 10
Because his grand-dad was mr Enugu who hailed from Enugu.he later relocated from Enugu in the east to establish another Enugu in Nassarawa and later named his son Enugu so that Enugu people in the east will know that there is a northern Enugu on ground representing Enugu's interest in the North.

Even Nigerian army doesn't have an Apache yet they are telling us boko haram wants to get one .LMAO
Politics / Re: Boko Haram Plans Air Strike- JTF by ~Bluetooth: 11:26pm On May 10
Lmao @ cruise missile just like MEND that planned to launch a nuclear weapon .Some of these terrorists would do better in comedy aswerigad.
Politics / Re: Boko Haram Plans Air Strike- JTF by ~Bluetooth: 11:19pm On May 10
Adedayo516: Wait until this airstrikes happen then we would all come here again to prove our various conspiracy theories #fact....We Nigerians are always pessimistic about everything , we never believe anything(can't blame us though)...but then always try to remember that this guys put their lives on a very thin line everyday just because of me and you.....what if it was true that they planned air strikes?!
Airstrikes with what ? Was their any intelligence to the military that boko haram planned to attack its depot and steal a helicopter or how does boko haram intends to get one ? Don't forget there is an air radar system in Nigeria to track planes and helicopter movement in space !
Politics / Re: Boko Haram Plans Air Strike- JTF by ~Bluetooth: 11:15pm On May 10
samfibby: Where in the world do terrorists call for a full blown confrontation with a well armed govt army. Every terrorist's main motive is to cause utmost pain and wreck havoc on UN-harmed citizens in order to discredit the ruling govt.
So would they need all these arms to cause fear or attack non-combatant targets ? Like I told you ,the highest they can do is adopt guerrila tactis either on armless civilians, police or the army.boko haram doesn't need a helicopter to instil terror,so the Nigeria Army should stop lying to Nigerians .
Politics / Re: Boko Haram Plans Air Strike- JTF by ~Bluetooth: 11:08pm On May 10
9jadelta: are u a top rank boko haram member to knoe the amount of weapons they have in their aresnal? i cant believe a nigerian still saying this with everything boko has been doing lately
Let me tell you something.the problem with Nigeria security agencies is that they believe in their arms;thinking it will solve the problem.what they need to know is how these guys get their arms supply.
Before the leader of boko haram was killed, they weren't sophisticated as this.after his death, alqaeda in the maghreb gave them funds, arms and moral support couple with local sympathisers then you got an unstoppable killer squad on rampage.what the security needs to do is penetrate and infiltrate these guys.proactive not reactive !
Politics / Re: Boko Haram Plans Air Strike- JTF by ~Bluetooth: 11:02pm On May 10
Lmao. . . . Honestly,I don't know why these guys have to take millions of people for granted just to cover their inactions.the person that came up with this lie should be prosecuted for foolishness.
Politics / Re: Boko Haram Plans Air Strike- JTF by ~Bluetooth: 10:49pm On May 10
kooto: And from where will Boko Haram purchase the helicopter[s]from? oshodi market?helicopters are not things you can buy without people knowing particularly for attack purposes. I don't think even AL-QUEDA uses helicopter.
I wonder too.I even thought the mo'r'ons were going to talk about a plane hijack or something reasonable.
Politics / Re: Boko Haram Plans Air Strike- JTF by ~Bluetooth: 10:44pm On May 10
Most planted bombs can be made locally and from the attacks so far, that's what boko haram has been using. They tucked some in empty cans.
Police and military outposts point of correction. The attacks in the metropolis on either military or police commands were done by explosives.
Politics / Re: Boko Haram Plans Air Strike- JTF by ~Bluetooth: 10:39pm On May 10
And you think this is what it takes to win a war ? an army of rag-tag hungry mofos ? Boko haram is good at guerilla warfare and that is why its hard for the military to tame them.
Politics / Re: Boko Haram Plans Air Strike- JTF by ~Bluetooth: 10:35pm On May 10
Most of the explosives are locally-made.
Politics / Re: Boko Haram Plans Air Strike- JTF by ~Bluetooth: 10:33pm On May 10
They have these arms and still engage in guerrilla warfare ? These guys are just terrorists who are out to attack non-combatant targets only to be surpressed by the military. If they want to fight the army, they would have called for a convention war !
