There are couple of things you need to consider if you intend to purchase a large format outdoor printer:
The print width - some print up to 10ft and more, while most are between 4ft, 5ft, 6ft
Print Quality - some print with excellent quality when viewed at a close range, while others only look perfect from a distance; like the extremely wide sizes.
Picoliter - Some are capable of printing very tiny characters and tiny lines and giving the graphics a lot of details, others are not so got with the tiny characters, they just compress the color
Price - Some are very cheap to purchase but the cost of running it is very expensive, while others cost more to purchase but the overall running cost is very low.
Safety - Some use very harsh ink with a strong smell, especially the cheap machines. This kind of ink is very dangerous to human health. Others use odourless and harmless Eco-solvent ink.
After-sales services - This is as important as the machine itself. Go for a quality machine that the dealer can give you full local support. If not you might end up wasting you money on a machine you won't get parts when needed or even the engineers to maintain it.

Outdoor banner display has some level of restriction in some cities like Lagos; so don't just look at the extremely wide format, get something that can give you advantage in close range quality display as well as the big banners. You can join the banner to get a large size print if need be.

The SureColor Solvent 30670 is an extremely cost effective signage printer. It has been designed for the low-medium volume production of durable display and design material.
