If you want the silly Alaba home videos out there then 4 days to a week is okay. But if you are looking at a cinema movie that is of good quality then budget a minimum of a month just for the shooting. Sometimes they could be longer. A month will allow the actors get into the story and give their best rather than the haphazard pantomine they call acting. You also have to do pre production which includes writing a script, scouting for locations, getting the right crew and actors and most important of all getting finances.
