Two of the three people believed to have attacked the Zaria residence of Vice President Muhammad Namadi Sambo were apprehended by the police on Monday at the Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital (ABUTH), Shika in Zaria.

Confirming the arrest to Daily Trust yesterday, acting public relations officer of the Kaduna State Police Command, DSP Abubakar Balteh, said it was nemesis that caught up with the attackers.

Meanwhile, a source in the interrogating room has disclosed that the suspects have mentioned Mallam Nasir El-Rufai as having sponsored the attack on the Vice president's residence. Recalled that few weeks ago, some suspects arrested over the attack on some churches in Zaria had also mention El-Rufai as their sponsor. it is noteworthy that Mallam El-Rufai hails from Zaria, Kaduna State.
