I also got this from <180> DEAR CUSTOMER!YOU ARE GIVEN 2,000000 IN YOUR TOTAL RECHARGE FOR THE YEAR 2010 TILL DATE:CODE NO 422 DO CALL THE REDEMPTION CENTER ON 08106216417 FOR COLLECTION. I wonder what these guys take us for! |

I nearly got swindled like that too just now...got an sms stating "Yello!! Your Number Have Been Credited 50,000 Naira AIRTIME. On The Cards Reward.Your Code Is 3332 For Your Line To Be Loaded Now Login To www.mtnvip.com." I think MTN should work with the security agencies to yank off the website from the web and, if possible, get those behind it arrested. It looks so real until you start browsing the website...grammatical mistakes and wrong spellings plus the unprofessional way of packaging the website typical of Nigerian scammers. |
