Quick question - are there any advertising agencies in Nigeria that help companies advertise online?

I've seen adverts for Nigerian banks (usually IPO related) on Hotmail. I assume their ad agencies helped them secure those placements/

Does anyone know one can find any of these companies that specialise in online advertising for Naija companies?

The reason why I'm looking for Nigerian ad agencies is because we want to get a steady stream of local advertisers to advertise on the Nigerian websites that sign up. This is actually a good thing for Nairaland and other sites that are coming up.

I thought enownow.com was a content portal. I went to their advertising section but it only contained the rates for advertising on their site.

I'm actually looking for the agencies that design web campaigns for the banks and help them buy the ad spaces on selected websites.

One minute I saw a comment saying "Who cares about transparency. Na transparency we go chop", and the next minute, the comment had been deleted.

Anyway, to whomever it was, I'll say this - "transparency IS VERY important". It underpins everything democracy and fairness stands for. It ensures that we see the wood for the trees and we don't get cheated.

When it involves money, it is especially important that a blogger, website owner, or any business owner know exactly what the buyer is paying for their product before the middleman takes their cut, regardless of how much is listed in the check that they send to you.

It is like Tuface not knowing how much his record company is earning and just being happy for being paid something.

If you claim to be paying me 101% and I only get 2 kobo in my mailbox, how does that help me? On the other hand, if google doesn't tell me what percentage they are paying but I get something substantial, I'm theirs for life? What matters is the absolute amount you can raise for publishers, and not the percentage. 101% of zero is still zero. That's what I meant by "na transparency we go chop?" Besides, how do we know your info is correct?

I think you've misunderstood what we mean by transparency in the online advertising context. To be transparent, we link advertisers to publishers directly. They submit their bids to the publishers directly. As far as I know, Google's model doesn't allow them to do that.

On the issue of what publishers are paid, it is a function of the quality of the publisher's site and how much advertisers are ready to pay.

Interesting, I remember when we built flymyads.com... Beautiful idea, great traction. The problem we had more publishers than advertisers and that took more money from our pockets than put in it! Higher School of Economics (HSE) launches Russian language foundation course for foreign students for the first time. HSE is the second best university in Russia.

This program will provide applicants with: • A level of Russian language proficiency that will allow to study in your chosen program, and • Necessary subject knowledge to continue studies at any of the Russian-taught programs offered at the HSE.

The educational program of the foundation course suggests training in the following programs and general subjects:
• 32 weeks of studying Russian language
• 3 professional tracks:
Social and economic sciences: Russian language, mathematics, social studies, English;
Social sciences and humanities: Russian language, history, social studies, English;
Technical: Russian language, mathematics, physics/computer science, English.
• Each track include courses taught in English language.

Fees and Accommodation
Tuition fees 2014/2015: $3800 (to be paid in two separate parts) and you only pay upon arrival in Moscow. They will sign an agreement upon arrival in Moscow and pay half tuition fee ($1900 by September 25-26 and $1900 in January). Accommodation fees at our dormitory: $130 per month.

many online advertisement agency in nigeria will get you crowds and not intended customers, you know how you get sms on your phone and you hiss n delete it, same happens with emails also..i ignore or deleted most.
