NAFDAC Official Website Hacked Again! by tainot2002(m): 5:33am On Aug 05, 2012
I keep wondering while Nafdac can't maintain a dedicated website protected from being hacked by hackers. If other sites can stay since 2005-Till date, then while thier official website always fall victims.SMH!

Public information are serious content to worry about Bro...Assuming Nafdac on their websites states that Panadol with label no: 67899 should not be sold or bought by the public but Panadol with label no: 89763 is safe and the hackers in connivance with the distributors of the banned panadol changes the information the other way round and most of us rely on this website to get information on reliable drugs, what do you think would happen?? The fact remains that Government institutions are in a very poor state due to corruption. There is no excuse for the ineptitude of the institution to protect their website which the Public relies on for information.

Those hackers use SQL injection to penetrate into the Nafdac Data base which holds various critical information like usernames and passwords etc.Basically, data base need to be secured, but many DB servers running are unsecured either because of their vulnerability or because of poor programming handles by the programmer
