safarigirl: Arenal and Trophy Drought

8 years and running
It's no longer funny
The fans have waited
With breaths bated
Egos have been deflated
Jerseys gone faded
Wenger says we need patience
But how long do we wait?
8 years have passed, do we keep faith?
We're mocked amongst friends
Arsenal jokes are the new trend
This failure road has no bend
We ride alone, our heads bent
We'll get there next year
Tell that to the cobwebs
That have riddled the trophy shelves
Voices lost in the shout
"WE MUST END THIS DROUGHT"
chai! u r a genius...take this arsenal cup,lol..

Wow!!! The OP is truly a masterpiece
Toluis(TLS) ur bokoharam ish is something 4 kips
Nigeria has got mad talent
This is a fact that can never be bent
No mater the season, even in lent
I read the lyrics and truly it aint gimmicks
Nodullin is not here to compete neither to beef
But its clear I've also got mad skills
I can go on and on.. Round and round
But let's give honor to whom it is due.
To the Oga at the top
All props I give
And to rest of y'all,
Raise up ur glass's of beer
And based on this, let's all cheer!!!

@ Yoruba Omoge, herez 4 you.

Omoge Yoruba

The year is two thousand and thirteen
Ladies everywhere their hair lenghten
With brazilian and peruvian weave
Doz who can't afford it, sit down and grieve
Some change their names, to tinz lyk sexycreamie
Bbm gurlz, lazy with eyes dreamy

But there she goes, proud of her yoruba lineage
Known as omoge yoruba even at this time and age
Though the word denotes something of beauty
Beautiful is an understatement, when you spot her in the city
Though i do not know her, her face i cannot place
I still place her above oda gurls, i give her an ace

Omoge yoruba, eyes of a goddess, gait of a queen
Walkn down the street, she creates a lovely scene
Omo oduduwa, daughter of a great man
I am sure ur mother taught u well, so i hope u av a plan
Coz when NLders read diz little write up
Dey'll want ur number, queing to call you up.

Bokoharam and bomb

Kaboom! kaboom! kaboom!
resonated the deafening sickening sound
children scurried
women hurried
men, left in utmost dismay
entrapped in a terror display
i have seen this before
no, its not a deja vu
i use to watch it on CNN
i cant believe its already happening here
in our own dear country
leaving us in a state of endless fear
but the culprits are faceless
a name without a face
doesn't seem to make sence
Bokoharam
like the slaughtering of a ram
bloodily you have caused so much harm
how long will it take you to calm
when will you lay dowm your arms?
when you see a child without an arm
or a man who can no longer farm
begging for alms because you took away his palm
doesn't it ring an alarm?
were those the teachings of the Imam?
you are an epitome of doom
you, your bomb and its boom
soon you too will be doomed
we will sweep you out of this room
like the dust with a unified broom

you killed it!!! Gbam

tripledub: @op. My phrase is 'THE INTERNET AND THE NIGERIAN YOUTH'
The world wide web, a distinct world so wide so versed.
Its here From all I'v read...an action ward dat tells me what to do...like a verb.

A business venture, huge profits stocks and debenture.
Like microsoft...But in the process Macro is lost...a doom vendor.

The youths...absorb like a sponge
The good, the ugly the whole bunch
They feed on all information, dey are hardly stunch...even now dey ask what is for launch

So I ask is the internet suitable to the boy and spinster
The evidence says otherwise, the dead says its another vice, where is cynthia

A network of computers, tomorrows future leaders...all the tutor and readers...I hope I'l reach out to you, but first let me post this link on Twitter.
