Abakaliki is the Capital of Ebonyi state which was created alongside other six states in 1996 by Abacha regime.
Enough resources abound in the state____and the list goes:
* Lime stone: We have this natural gift in abundance from Izzi to Amasiri and Afikpo and many other communities. From here we supply to other Eastern state and its environs.
* Lead: This substance is also found in large quantities.
* Salt: We are "the salt of the nation" yet we're still importing salt from other places.funny!
* Zinc: It is also available in large quantities but who is gonna tap this God giving nature?
* Crude Oil: By the time we have governor, Nigerians will know that ebonyi has crude oil in huge quantity. An oil state with Nkalagu cement factory....

Abakaliki if full restructured and maintained like other naija cities will also join one of emerging cities in the east.With the master plan of the city,Abakaliki would've been the best town to live in and do ur things.The pic here are how the city looks presently___the good,the bad and the ugly.

more of Abakaliki, I was just in motion while doing this, didnt have even 2 minutes chance to park and see the city as it is.

the city is far more beutiful than shown

but its not a job we can complete in one day

I still think the govt should act more

but its a new state,

I like to see greens visible along the roads

couldn't focus the camera and drive at the same time

some sections are better

I like these areas better
