Banning of blackberry is suck a murunkus idea. If that should happen, technoly should be banned instead. For whatever reason, i believe that all inventions has its positive and negative effects. It all depends on what you make use of it. Maybe TV, Home Video, Games, Aeroplanes, Cars, all phones. If possible sef ban the birth of human beings.... We are the devils in ourselves. The products of technology are just devices that depends on human actions. *****if you dont act porn, nobody records porn*****. STUPID TOPIC. How did this get to front page self? YAK! How did i get time to view and respond to this self?

I'm pretty sure the author of dat write-up is a brown-envelope journalist. Pun intended. That said, social media doesn't promote decadence, rather it showcases the rot in the system, relationship ‎Ãήϑ everything else in human interaction. If the BB isn't in existence, hundreds of platform will still be available. So, deal with it.

@OP, u shud b banned on NL for posting this crap!
You must be one of those ignoramuses that think the smartphone world starts and end with Blackberry phones.
BB phones are dying, in case you haven't noticed. Except of course in Nigeria; a developing nation.

Lets ban knife, people use it to kill other people o..
Lets ban computers, yahoo-yahoo spoiling the Country's name too much..
Lets ban politicians, their looting is too much..
Lets ban Pastors, alot of them are too wealthy...

Rita only highlighted d ills of bb and concluded that it should be ban, that is a faulty conclusion 4rm a wrong premise.
What l expect her to have suggested is tht there should be an intensive enlightment how best 2 use it and other social network devices.
What she forgot is tht every invention/tech has its negative sides

should OP be deported back to his village for wasting space?

@OP, tell NNPC to stop production of petroleum , because people die scooping petrol and other products, or beg for oil to dry in Nigeria so militancy can end.
