anybody using this phone should tell us more abt the phone

i hv one already.i bought mine 23,000 in onitsha but in slot it is 19,500

How do you prevent apps from automatically accessing the net?
I got the E405 version tho, need to edit app permissions preventing some of em from accessing the network,
Yea av heard of droidwall n LBE, both need a rooted device to do the needful, oh! Well

the truth is that as for now dia is no way to root this phone.if u use z4root and other rooting softwares it wount work

i'm facing dsame issue but i know very soon they will provide a way to root this phone

There is newer version of this phone the LG Optimus e405 dual sim it has same specs as e400. I want to know if it is available in nigeria and how much it cost?

How do u mean max app that can be downloaded on the phone memory, I think its got about 1GB of internal mass storage and abt 200MB for apps, not sure, u can move some apps to the mass storage though.

I think that 150mb/160mb is about right, coz I rem getting the 'memory full, plz delete some items' I had the option of moving some apps to the mass storage tho, not all apps had that option.


Have u guys checked out : LG OPTIMUS L5 DUAL E615;

Its like the elder brother of : LG OPTIMUS L3 DUAL E405

It has got beta screen size and display pixels; runs ICS and mass storage of 2.6GB. Asides from these I don't see diff,

Its processor is same as the E405 dual, same graphics card too. Considering this is it possible for the E405/E400 to run ICS? Wuld there b any lag?

ics on dis phone might be possible but with some bugs.cus l5 has 512mb of ram but the l3 has around 382mb of ram.but as for me i rilli prefer gingerbread to ics seriously

U prefer Gingerbread to ICS? There was so much buzz abt ics so y do u prefer Gingerbread? Just a personal choice or u think its better?

I didn't use that link, I used a diff method called 'spectrum root' just one click, didn't take upto 5mins

Not sure which games u call HD games, the most serious game I have on there is --- Raging thunder 2 duno if that qualifies

Dead trigger didn't work, temple run lags on it

This does not lag in any way am using the dual sim l3 405,is fantastic just that the lcd display might. be. poor but is very fast. . am currently playing trial extreme hd ,pes 2012 hd,gta hd,air. attack hd. . I bought it down here in owerri,25k LG center. . .am just working towards rooting it . and someone at Ukraine has successful rooted his using the method for LG Optimus spectrum same L series . . . at xda developers . . just that you will use a system to root it and get the drivers . . . guess what I just rooted my phone . . is easy . . call me for assist 08034838784

Guess what I wanna try jelly bean . . . The bugs in ice scream sandwish is manageable

Drag the notification bar. down and touch the data control and make it turn grey . . go. to settings to account and sync there turn off auto sync and turn off background data . . you should try rooting your phone to use net quin and control all your apps for internets access . . . as for me I have browsd with my sim card for more than one year . . I can't say how I did it . . FREE OF CHARGE. WITH MTN
