this is not me...

So far my hair texture is much like hers.
She is obviously transitioning too. Look @ how bone straight her edges are grin

At this stage there really isn't much we can do
with our hair unless we braid, straighten it or weave it.

I wake up every morning for work @ around 5:30 am or even 6 am
and have to constantly brush and slab creams on my hair for it to comply.
Simply trying to put it in a pony tail LITERALLY takes 15 minutes LOL

It's kinky but the ends are still straight..it's so complicated but I am
happy it's changing..

My progress is going really well now!! cool

I took out my braids and rocked the braid out look today while
running my errands. I went to the local beauty supply store
and purchased some marley twisting hair for the kinky twists I will
be doing next weeked. (My first time doing it..wish me luck! grin

)

Then I returned home. I shampooed, deep conditioned and wrapped my hair.
I let it air dry and just unwrapped it. I must say, I am VERY happy with
the results. My natural roots are finally making some progress!! cool

I might post a pik sometime tomorrow.

I'm just happy my patience paid off!!

This is how her hair turned out after 4 years of going natural! cool

This is the length I plan to allow my hair to get to.
In the mean time I will keep it braided/twisted up so as not to
irritate it with constant combing and brushing.

i cut my hair too.
i didn't chop it all off but i did cut the ends.
i had horrible split ends.

Aww, that's nice.

I went to have my ~~hair~~ head sorted out today and my hair is almost a skin head. My friend had to do a close cut because of the patches. It looks nice and feels very soft, will take a photo later on.
