Is the RC no different according to type of certificate? E.g. Incorporation, Limited Liability, Business Name Registration and others.

Because I always see RC then 6 nos will follow in most of the banks and other ltd business. But the No on the left corner of the certificate is preceded by state code (OS8484).

RC is for limited while that OS is for a business name. The code depends on where you applied for the incorporation.if its lagos, you have BN, if its ogun,you have OG
