As life is not a bed of roses, When the time comes that you need your partner to encourage you in the lord, they will not be able to do that. Why marry someone who sees nothing wrong in fornication/adultery when your standard is faithfulness? Why marry someone who sees nothing wrong in embezzling government funds when you stand by 'thou shalt not steal'? Why marry someone who sees nothing wrong in 'correcting the spouse with a couple of slaps' when you believe that the spouse should be treated with all love, respect and dignity? On a more general note, when the verse "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers ", does this also extend to Business associates, friends, housemates, classmates? Where in that verse does it suggest 'marriage and marriage only'?

Bélla3: nt being equaly yoked wit unbelievers means you should emulate them, u shuldnt be joined as one flesh wit them, and this is refering sex thus marriage wit unbelievers is not advisable.
However there is another passage of the bible in which paul addresses christians that he u are married to an unbeliever the Christ in u cleans ur partner.

14 Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? 15 What harmony is there between Christ and Belial[b]?
