In Federal Univeristy of Agric Abeokuta (Funaab)students are admitted based on three criterials as against only two criterials used by most univerities in Nigeria. The criterials include: The agregate of WAEC result, JAMB and Post-UTME results. Infact, if your WAEC and JAMB results are not sound, you can score high mark in the post UTME without getting admission.

UNILAG and other univesities admission is based on the agregate of JAMB and Post-UTME results alone. Agregate of WAEC is not considered which makes it easier than that of FUNAAB.

in 2012/2013 admission and for a relatively new school, over 43,000,000.00 applied for admission but only 3,800.00 or less than 9% were given admission.

dah is a bloody lie there is no hw a state uni cn b more harder than fed universities,nd in south there they base on ur merit bt here in a.b.u it all abt ur money nd connectn so can u c y i said is a.b.u

Funnab is very easy if u are with ur o'level, nowaday students has their o'level but unable to gain admission. Unilag is also one of the university u can easily gain admission. Let me prove it to you according to the vice chancellors of unilag and oau. Unilag can admit 11659candidates of the 85000applicant that apply yearly excluding second choice candidates while oau can only admit 5600 of the 70000applicant yearly including second choice candidates. Why most students apply for unilag is that they know it is very easy to gain admission as far as they made it their first choice. Why student are runing for oau and ui is that they know that u can hardly get admission. And for your information imo state university has the largest post utme applicant in the 2012/2013 academic session.

2.UNILAG
3.UNILORIN
4. ABU
5.IBADAN

Unilorin,Abu Zaria, & Unilag Usually hav the highest Number of applicant Every year, each hav not less than 76,000 candidate 4 d past 3yrs. ABU Zaria only admit first choice and d highest candidate from each state of d federation 2 each department, meanin every state is represented in every department but u hav 2 b d highest SSCE,JAMB,POST UTME. My own opinion oo
