If we could stop criticizing and pray that God helps GEJ to appoint people who's got conscience....people who will work with him to better the country and not people who will look good and after being appointed will unveil its wicked mission and demote GEJ's administration!!

It means your application has been received... If you did apply online...you've been selected alongside other online applicants... So the next step is for you to go to ur "state Civil Service Commission" and get the hard copy form and fill indicating the FN on a given space... You may be redirected to ur state secretariat..if the form isn't with them..... Goodluck sirree!

How do u expect his incoming workers to be responsible, when they saw that dia predecessors were not punished when dey erred. Do you know that Abba Moro has set a precedence? Dat even if anoda minister unda GEJ errs, he will say afterall Moro wasnt punished, y will he. What is gud for d goose is gud for d gander.

He set up a committee to lok into NIS, did we tell him to give dem 12wiks, I guess he met with dem and dey agreed dey can carry out d task in 12wiks. Do u want to tel me dat dey didnt report bak to him after 12wiks and he kept quiet? Or lets say dey didnt report bak to him, is dia no mechanism in place dat wil notify him of d progresses of his committes, if yes, den y didnt he get bak to d masses thru a public statement to calm us down as he did with d cancellation...

If it were to be a sane nation, dia wud hv bin series of protest on dis issue, even an impeachment process wud hv bin started because of dis. Dats y d West see us as d happiest pple on earth, suffering and smiling.

We nid a responsive and premptive govt, a govt dat wil put d wellbeing of d masses 1st b4 dia political carrers, dats what leaders do. A govt dat thinks of d next generation and not d next election...

We entered dis social contract, we can as well come out of it if its not beneficial to d both parties...

Controller General of Nigeria
Immigration
Service
(NIS), Mr. David S Parradang, has
disclosed that
Boko
Haram has killed eight officers and men
since
the service
joined forces with the Joint Task Force
(JTF) to
wage war
against the Islamist insurgent group.
The Immigration boss, who made the
disclosure
during a
two-day programme to mark the 2014
Comptroller
General’s Annual Conference and
Stakeholders
Interactive
Forum in commemoration of the 50th
anniversary of the
service in Abuja yesterday, further
revealed that
1427
immigration officers and men are
currently part
of the
JTF.
According to him, “The NIS’ operatives
have
been
mobilised on several occasions to
perform ad-
hoc
security functions on the platform of
JTF in
Maiduguri
since July, 2011. A total of 1427
officers men,
including
the 230 currently, have so far
participated in
the JTF while
the Service lost eight of them due to
incessant
attacks by
the Boko Haram. “A lot of buildings,
vehicles,
radio
communication gadgets have also been
destroyed in the
process. The NIS had since requested
the
esteemed office
of the National Security
Adviser (NSA) for possible intervention.”
Enumerating the challenges facing the
service,
Paradang
lamented that immigration is facing
insufficient
manpower and appealed to the Federal
Government to
approve the recruitment of 5000
Nigerians
annually for
the next five years to beef up the
current
capacity of
22,321off

thanks but i obtained d form in my state, sent it tru nipost to abuja and received d number abt 3wks later. But i dnt knw what to do wt d number.

I was among those that documented that 1st week of Dec for the just concluded FRSC, training sch opens on the 4th of jan 2015, is man know man thing. FG work is like the more look the less you see.

Again! He didn't meet with them to confirm if the 12weeks was good for them! He announced the 12weeks after which it came to his notice that there was a stampede and people died in the process! And then he wasn't aware of the recruitment processes! Usually, NIS recruitment does take longer time!
