THE Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has dismissed one of its officer, Andy Oyibi, for allegedly defrauding members of the public with the aim of providing them with employment in the service. Comptroller General of Immigration, Mr David Parradang, approved the dismissal of the officer in line with his vow to purge the service of bad eggs. The Provost Marshal of the service, Assistant Comptroller of Immigration, Mr George Didel, who announced the
dismissal of Oyibi, said the practice was aimed at denting the image of the service. According to him, Oyibi, who was an Assistant Inspector of Immigration, was alleged to have been engaged in selling fake appointment letters to innocent and unsuspecting Nigerians. He said: “His deeds were exposed when we arrested his accomplice, who told us that the Assistant Inspector was the one who gave him the fake appointment letter.” He said they trailed the accomplice to Nyanya under bridge where he destroyed the evidence.

To think that you had led some innocent and unsuspecting Nairalanders into giving their hard earned money to this scammer called 'Agent' all in the name of buying job slots is really heartaching... Atleast this will serve as lesson to all those that would rather go through window than go through door. u re 100percnt right @ frank.I was told to scan and send mine on mon morning by an uncle whom I knw doesn't play pranks. that was why I wrote that thn.but the prblm we ve in this house is that there re some people who do not thnk b4 they post thereby spoiling other peoples mind.it makes me keep all the info to my self.
