The 3rd edition of the FIFA U-17Women's World Cup kicks off in Azerbaijan on Saturday, September 22. Nigeria's Flamingoes will be making their 3rd appearance at the tournament, having reached the quarter-final in 2010. Success girls, these days I prefer watching the female teams and the 'disabled' than watching the 'able' bodied men give my heart attack.

My main concern is the age of our players, not their performance. I strongly believe that we're getting more and more honest in age-group competitions. The U17 boys am sure has over 80% of real U17. This female U17 team has perhaps only 60%, but this is not bad at all. In the next few years, we will reap the rewards. But lets all enjoy the tournament. And Nigerian female football is on the rise now. FIFA has tagged us amongst favorites for this tournament.
Presenting some of the gals...

I think age cheating has greatly reduced in Nigerian football. FIFA has made sure of that. Besides these girls look like real teens to me
