EVOLUTION brings about a convincing and long lasting CHANGE other than IMPOSITION
There was an age when the most civilized set of people on earth would behead individuals for ridiculous offences like Blasphemy,Apostacy,Heresy,Possesion of the bible,Expression of scientific findings,etc....bt what brought abt this day civilization was not imposition by people that believed differently bt self-checking and collective effort against the hienous practice.They questioned the rationale behind their actions and underwent a process of "revolution of thoughts"...that brought us to d present-day civilization.
If a group of people have chosen to be alien and archaic in their way of believe,it's a decision others have to respect even though they might be looked upon as if they were tens of century behind civilization.
Imposition of the perceived right ways of life should not be done as it will never produce a lasting effect.It will only lead to sporadic and spontaneous chaos. It is like teaching a nursery pupil calculus! But if the people collectively think they need a change in their way of lifes,THEY should make the decision,not someone else making d decision for them.
Furthermore,we have to agree here that the rate of development in all circumstances would always be different. That is why a maize plant would bring forth its fruits in 3months while it would take years for a mongo tree to do the same. So,if some set of people feel they are not ready for civilization,they should be left alone,they have a longer "maturation period" than others...their "time" is coming soon.
Western impositions have been experimented in Africa and we dont need a soothsayer that it is failing woefully-Democracy is not working,failed in more than 90%,their policies put us into mess,remeber the IMF's devaluation of naira policy and Stuctural Adjustment Policies,their food has caused a lot of disorders-the 70's can food causing Cancers 2day...etc
abegiiiiii let the west leave the arab nations alone,leave them with their religion and believes no matter how bizarre their practices could look.
Leave them with their autocratic governance,they will revolt if they need any change...external influences would just bring more confusions!
