Please House advice, is it necessary to remove the thermostat from a tokunboh car? Will removing or leaving it have any adverse effect on performance?

Dude, this has been covered like over a hundred times in similar threads.

And yes, it's unnecessary to remove the thermostat from any engine, it will have adverse effects. It was fitted for a purpose, not simply fitted to look pretty.

Next time, instead of asking users to "visit the library" or "search the forum", you should post direct links to the answers.

There is nothing wrong in asking any member (new or old) to "visit the library" or "search the forum" if one cannot immediately recall the "direct link to the answers."
