Hello.Pls i would like to know something about starcomms internet.Do you have to recharge before you can use the service even after subscribing?and if so how much can one load to browse?200,500 Naira? and how fast is their service?

Last month i was on their dial-up, you don't need to recharge, just pay for monthly subscription and thats all, its not very fast, but its comfortable in the night, from about 10 pm to 6 am. i used to pay 10k per month for 24/7 package. I've got their EV-DO (broadband) package, its fast, pretty cool. surprisingly i download at approx. 37 kb/s.

now they offer a promo of 23k for the starter pack and also 3 months free.

the thing is quite okay sha, i don start to dislike am cuz i have a download speed of 42kb/s but upload speed of 5kb/s, that sucks.

i don't know what just entered starcomm's head but see what i'm getting for download speed. 79 kb/s!!

If your looking for dail-up internet run fast to get multilinks huawei ETS2551 phone , if it EVDO, think twice before you choose starcomms. Otherwise;
