afam4eva: There are only a few companies that use Oracle in Nigeria and they're mostly multi-nationals. The only bank i know that uses Oracle is Zenith. There jusr aren't jobs for Oracle Database Administrators(DBA).
what about the telecoms?

There are a lot of Oracle jobs in Nigeria especially in the Telecoms industry, I've been working as an Oracle developer for about 7 years.
Try developing your skills in scripting rather than administration and you'll be surprised the opportunities that will come your way.
