Good for pepper soup. The Ideal thing is to keep it a Zoo, but Nigeria, it will end up in their pot.

with this craze for reptile delicacy...eg crocodiles and now this turtle...i'm really wondering why the Agama lizard population is still thriving, is it color blindness on the part of hungry Nigerians...or these lizards have good camouflage

dont know why we're out-whiting the whites these days.

Lets stop looking down on our fellow nigerians just because they're poor, plz.

Frankly, some of the utterances in this place, scare me.

maclatunji:

Its a Giant Sea turtle. It probably mistook Oniru beach for its nesting ground. They are graceful swimmers in the sea but move awkwardly on land when they come to lay their eggs in burrows.

It makes great food if you are starving but in Nigeria of today, I think the humane thing to do is to let it go if you are sure it isn't sick or dying.
Since When did eating wild animals became a thing for those starving?
