Ameboperoo: You can add another lnb to get Astra2b but u'll be able 2 view most of the channels with an mpeg4 decoder eg 69x, 69xII or even hd.

Ameboperoo: DSTV decoder is customized 4 viewing their channels only. U'll need strong decoder or other fta decoder to enjoy free channels.

you are right but not totally true. if you know your way round that box, you can add fta channels on dstv decoder.

Ameboperoo: I will just advice him to get a strong decoder cos I've tried to track fta channels with it(DSTV decoder) once, I got d channels ok but it refuse to show picture.

Ameboperoo: Yes you can. Your lnb should be around 7 to 8 o'clock when u face d dish.

pofolo: the best set up on 60cm dish for now is w3c on 16east 11804 v/h 30000, where we have rts1, rdv, drtv, crtv, lcf, tenerife, stv2, canal 2 etc all on one sat.
for 90cm, w4 36east( dstv )12245 v/h 27500 or 12437 v/h 23437 and multi tv on 28.2east 12552 v/h 19551 on a single dish will do a great magic.
for tuesdays champions league, etv hyde pack on sirius4 on 4.8east does the magic, get 90cm dish, track with 12605 h 29950 to over 80% signal strenght, then blindscan or manually input 12740 v/h 04430.
w3a aka madagascar is on 7east with mbc1-3 with 11192 v/h 03310..

Talkwisdom: Can all be nailed using ku band lnb?..i was told satelite name that ends with c can only be nailed using c-band lnb and not ku band lnb...please help me out

All of them are ku band signals.
With the new names adorpted by eutelsat, u can't now say dat every name dat ends in C is C band. Most times what u look at is the frequency. If its 4 like 3254, its C band. But if its 5 like 11254, its ku.
