lukaino: Not a single Animal even Benin Zoo still has some animals last time i visited.
Soon there'll be no live wild animal to show our children. SMH
Nah, Port Harcourt zoo is way better than that Ogba zoo. That has to be the worst zoo in the country. Port Harcourt zoo had a few interesting animals but Ogba was a complete write-off. The only animal I saw was a tortoise.

pDude: Are you sure this is a zoo?

A zoo with animal statues? A zoo that I saw more tellytubby characters than animals

A zoo with unkempt surroundings and rusty wire fences that housed no animals within

What manner of zoo is this

Are you sure you went to the zoo or a dilapidated arts studio?

Just asking tho.

I guess he wants us to know he has an Apple product - iPad and a Nikon camera,,, quite sure it's all those crap 20k cameras... go get a DSL and show us some quality "ZOO" pics

THE GOVT. MUST INVEST MORE IN NATURAL FOREST RESERVES FOR OUR BELOVED NATIVE ANIMALS![/size]

That's a zoo. I know that because i've been to that particular zoo. It has reall animals. The day i went there i saw a lion, snakes etc But i don't think showing the animals is the basic reason for this thread. It's about Nigeria's independence celebration.

Did I misread the topic? undecided

I read the words 'celebration' and 'zoo' in the topic but : all I see is a crowd of people with some rag-tag costumed characters in a broken down place which is a sorry excuse for a zoo.

So almighty and overrated Port Harcourt calls this their zoo

I'm speechless sad

At least they still have one. many zoos throughout the country have been turned into residential homes. The zoo that used to be in Enugu is a case in point.

He He He.
Only in Nija.
Zoo without animals, and everyone is still calling it a zoo and pretending that there are animals in there.

It seems that all the animals are in the streets robbing and kidnapping people.
Which other animal are going top lock up in a cage?
