Here we are again....
So, I got a rejection last year September. My residence permit wasn't granted because, my means of sustenance was not secure.

I got a better job afterwards. I will no longer be asking my mother to sponsor me. All the funds is from me, and this time I got a 50% scholarship, unlike last year, it was a hundred. So I will be paying tuition and will still have up to 7000 euros left. But fear still dey catch me... For those who got a residence permit, what did you do differently?

Thank you.

This is for the people who already study in Finland. How did you get money to renew your residence permit? Could you find a Job? Is your second year a sad experience?

Please answer. The Finland Forum paints a depressing picture.

I still dey do lazy to send am give them cuz my deadline is still far. Plus am waiting for sth too.

Ok, how did the interview go? What questions were asked? Your supplementary docs to send is via the Migri eService right or Abuja?

Interview went well. Like I said earlier, be honest with them and most questions are from ur OPE_1 form.
Supplementary is sent to migri eservice.
Know ur course module, where ur school is located, name of ur school, why Finland, where will the degree earned be used in the future, etc.
I do not have all the questions but it's sth that u can relate to.
Be honest when u are asked if u have been denied visa b4. Also if u are self sponsor like me, be ready to explain most large sum of money paid into ur account.

I wish u all the best.
When is ur appointment wit the embassy?

Hey bro, please do you know if an exchange student needs a resident permit to study for 4 months in Finland? Do one also needs insurance as well? If yes, which insurance company would you recommend for a student coming to Finland from another schengen country?

Thanks

Hmmmm I don't think so but let me email migri first so I can relate it here. As u are in Europe I think swiss care insurance should serve. From the little I gained on migri site, if your studies exceeds 90 days u need a residence permit
