Just Got dis Now!!

Since this incident happened I've pondered and wondered what could have gone wrong that the four boys weren't bold enough to talk and challenge those who beat and paraded them in public, leading them to where they were eventually killed.

Now the whole issue is clearer; the boys "ignorantly" got
themselves involved with a cultist who operates with a gun, all in a bid to get their money back from a debtor.

Below is what actually happened according to an insider....
An indigene of Aluu owed Ugo some money and had vowed not to pay back. Ugo who was popularly known as Tipsy had gone to meet with a fearless University guy (name withheld) to help them track the debtor who had been on the run.

‘Mr Fearless guy’ (a cultist) who was feared by many in τ̲̅ђƺ school ad accepted to accompany his friends to get the
debtor tracked down in exchange for a percentage of the
debt.

They were joined by their room-mate, Chidiaka. On their way to the place, they met one of their friend, Tekena, who knew nothing about the plan, and he joined, just for the hype as is normal with young boys of juvenile age.

That made 5 boys - Ugo, Lloyd, Chidiaka, Tekena and ‘Mr
Fearless Guy’ that got to the debtor’s compound. Unknown to the other four, ‘Mr Fearless Guy’ who was contracted to intimidate the debtor just to get the money paid, went with a gun.

When they got to the debtor’s house around 12am, a fight ensued, as the debtor confronted them. A next door
neighbor, a woman started shouting on top of her voice, that they were thieves, attracting other bad boys around τ̲̅ђƺ area, whom were mainly “vikings”, the rival cult group of τ̲̅ђƺ one on contract.

They swung into action by tipping the vigilante group who confronted the boys, referring to them as thieves. In τ̲̅ђƺ process of beating the boys, while they were trying to prove their innocence, the fifth boy, ‘Mr Fearless Guy’, who is a cultist, brought out his gun to scare the people, and he escaped, leaving the rest four at the mercy of the villagers.

The explanation they tried to give fell on the community’s deaf ears as the people insisted they must be killed....and unfortunately they were lynched!

Note:- this story is an eyewitness account from the 5th boy who escaped. He narrated this to Ugo and Lloyd’s friend who has pleaded that his identity be kept secret.

They are gone forever. . .
Too late to cry when the head is already rolling on the floor.
The Aluu communtity and the savages within, will have to live with this.
So will Nigeria.

Sounds like a more reasonable story. Was rather shocked at the idea such pretty faced boys could be thieves.
Very sad, I've tried my best to avoid the videos and posts trying to avoid the realization of the brutality and callousness of the murderous act by the villagers.

That not the real story those four boys were new member of a cult group known as "MAFIA CONFRATERNITY " they went to unsit their don who ended up setting them up

i ve always believed that those guys were never thieves! i think that those that are involved in that act of cannibalism should be left to rot in jail

This is the true story guys! It was confirmed on Channels newz by one of d mothers of those boys.

Very pathetic because they are gone forever. Been lynched while innocent is so painful for the deceased family to bear.

I condemn dis killing. But if dis story is true, then they made a wrong move. 12am = 12midnite abi? Why would anyone go and visit a debtor at such hour with an escort who had a gun. Something is fishy. I condole with d families.

my trouble with this story: 1] the title: everybody is now claiming that his/her own version of the story is the truth.
2]the boys "ignorantly" got
themselves involved with a cultist : highly unlikely, if they actually involved anybody then they would surely know the guy's ability in handling such matters

Fearless Guy’: my maths is a little rusty, where did Lloyd appear from to complete the quintet?
7] Unknown to the other four, ‘Mr Fearless Guy’. . .went with a gun. still sounding fishy, which advantage then did Mr fearless confer to the group? his muscles?
8]they got to the debtor’s house around 12am is that a normal time to go debt collecting? sounds risky to me

N/B: in as much as i abhor what happened to those guys, i still have my reservations as per their complete innocence. pls note that i'm not justifying their gruesome murder but i still feel that the true story has not yet been told.

I have avoided commenting because of the amount of anger people felt, in the initial stages no one including myself thought rationally having seen the gruesome way these people were treated.

I lived in that community for a good part of 5 years and not once did an incident of this nature happen, I kept asking myself what these boys did to have incited the villagers to such heights that they behaved like savage beasts. The first thing though is this,
1. They were not "held" in the morning, the event took place in the morning so I suspect they were held at night, one version says they were tried through the night so to me the 12am story is more plausible.
2. There had to be a trigger for the villagers, which is where the gun story becomes more plausible. Something had to have triggered that response from the vigilante, I refuse to believe they were just walking on the road then they were seized and just treated like that.

The real story is not out anyways, but I suspect a very strong cult affiliation. The fact that they were handsome men also threw a lot of people off balance if only you guys saw the smallish handsome bros that held the school ransom just a couple of years back.
Jury is still out and there is no excuse whatsoever I mean whatsoever to treat anybody in that manner. Even prisoners of war get treated fairly.
The burning of houses that ensued just went to show that most people roaming the streets are nothing but savages, all they need is a reason - a suspected theif/cultist, or they killed our student so burn innocent peoples houses and Destroy innocent peoples cars.

hmm...

There's always a story behind everything.
Yet even if there is a story behind it, which i know there should be,
those boys didn't deserve that kind of death!

Most cases of jungle justice are always triggered by something, which so far in my own opinion is still unknown in this issue.
If only the police or the family members dig deeper privately, the truth will be out and the trigger will surely be known.

Yet again they didn't deserve such horror!
The perpetrators should not go unpunished.
