with the release of the D.E, 2nd choice and supplementary admission lists, I think its time we had a discussion about the school and what we will be expecting.

I had the opportunity of following the one started by Dr. Kadata last year and i must say it really helped them.

freshers, introduce yourself, your course and ask your questions, i believe oldies like kadata, nnadim will join the thread soon.

I know u ve got lots of questions to ask, this is the thread for it. Tuition fee, accomodation, screening dates and d rest.

Okay let me start, I am Emmanuel Akpe and i was admitted to study microbiology. **goes to sit on the high table** others you are welcome! smiley

Payment of acceptance fee has started. Freshers are to pay 15k at the uniuyo microfinace bank on or before 30th november 2012.

News reaching my desk suggests that registeration and screening would begin on the 10th of december. Can anyone comfirm that?

Guys any idea on the documents needed and stuffs to bring along for registeration?

The second choice list, Direct entry and Supplementary lists came out on tuesday. The supplementary list is not online yet. Others can viewed at www.uniuyopume.org

Emmy, gud job. Wel, as 4 documents 2 bring along, some of which are ur original waec/neco result, birth certificate, state of origin, original jamb result, pume result, leta of recommendatn(not 4rm ur family members), nd gud sum of money amongst odas.

I think they've phased out that recommendation letter ish during screening. I noticed last year. If you can't lay your hands on any, don't bother. Meanwhile, congrats on your admission.

You can get it from your secondary school principal {is to show basically yur behaviour while in school} .
Congrats on your admission!!. Hope to see yu in uyo.

I'm always around. We're still in session tho' - (em other faculties are on hols)- Tuition fee remains the regular. Doesn't ever change much. Just keep like N40k for first semester fees. I'm sure it'd be pretty less than that. I'd confirm from a colleague this evening- I.e exact figures. Accomodation fee( that if if you wan stay hostel o) is separate. Its N8,500. It won't be harmful to keep from N50 to N60k for your registration. Its too much sef-( at least small change gor remain). So till Dec 10 ?

i av confirmd d skulfees issue @ d student acc office. D skulfees remain d same. Wel, dou it varies from faculty 2 faculty. Emmy, urs is 36,250(1st semesta) 21,500 (2nd semesta).
