I just picked the 2013/2014 UTME form and I chose University of Uyo as a second choice with course International Relations. I saw it as a course in the JAMB brochure but didn't see it as a listed course in the school's website. I'm a bit worried though. I read on several sites that Uniuyo offers admission to second choice applicants. My O'levels is great and I plan to study hard for my forthcoming exams.

REPORT ON THE CURRENT SITUATION IN UNIUYO.

Today being the 10th of December was supposed to be the the beginning of the screening exercise in the school but there was a change in plans because of the on going warning strike by the non academic staff union.

In case you didnt know, the non academic staffs are responsible for any kind of registration and admission process.

With this lackluster and lackadaisical attitude, a vast majority of the students where put in a state of jeopardy when the deputy vice chancellor admin announced the postponement of the exercise in the onyeama ogochuckwu hall to Monday 17th December 2012 but.........

In an attempt to dilute the academic bruhaha, the school has decided to give opportunity to the faculties of law, medicine, engineering and pharmacy to do their registration this week.

Other faculties will start registration on the 17th of December 2012.
