I need to buy a car but I have been thinking of t'he choice to make between Honga accord EOD 2004/2005 or Toyota Corolla 2005/2006.
T'he things i need in a car are
Good fuel eceomy
Speed and stability
Car with Good second hand value
Presentable for official purposes
Other suggestions on toyota/honda sedan options are also welcomed

I just smiled seeing your bold comments up there, typical of Naija car buyers, bros, if its fuel economy why not go for diesel powered car? because whether you like it or not, fuel price in Naija would soon go up some day, and diesel fuel economy surpasses that of Petrol

Presentable for official purpose, Accord would be more executive, Corolla of that yr is cool as well but just official

Fuel Economy- its the corolla, I wouldn't need to check that one.. I am sure the capacity would still be less than 2.0L

Second hand value, ... I still think is the corolla cos 2003-2005 accord value has depreciated since, many prefer the 2006-07 model. I particularly like that one.

As for speed, or quick response I may call it, both are cool, but an accord has more power over the corolla... stability... I give it to the accord to...

sorry to digress a little here, if u need true stability/speed / power, turn to German cars, BENZ-BMW-AUDI-VW.

Oh bro. Don't think about it twice TOYOTA COROLLA is the best u go for toyota. I have used both cars and i know how they work.

Eod engine capacity is 2.2 and 2.4L V6 while Corolla is 1.8L so toyota will save more fuel than eod, corolla Ac ah lol.........

which kind wrong analysis be dis? pls dont go on misinforming peeps here... how can a 2003-2005 accord be a 2.2 litre engine and its V6 a 2.4L? huh? where did u get that? is it the Made in Nigeria Accord? more worrisome is your confirming you have used them? or na just test drive u do?

2003-2005 Honda accord 4-cylinder engine has 2.4L 4-cyl Engine Code K24A1 & K24A4 while its 6-cylinder engine is 3.0L 6-cyl Engine Code J30A4


@ poster, based on your stated requirements, you can go for a 2003/04 Toyota corolla, its nice,

but as for me, aside the official runs, 2004 - E-class mercedes is kool, even the 1998- 2000 model C-class is great as well, lots of people run from other German cars cos of few competent mechanics unlike Japanese, where any mistake by roadside mechanic, the car would still tolerate the menace.. if Its taxify,go for corolla because its fuel economical than the accord, so your profit fit make small sense.But on a normal day you cant be comparing a corolla to that accord.the corolla is a baby
