Lilprocess: Im a 27 years old male, I would like to discuss something personal here in the light of Islam, the reason why Im not using my real name here is because Im embarrassed of my sins and have asked Allah for forgiveness but I continue to experience problems almost daily. Still trying to find a cure to this problem.
The problem:
I have been masturbating for a long time now its been 10 years I think, Im a muslim but not religious which Im sad about and was neither awarethat its not good and all my friends used to say its okay. Now since after I turned 26 I did alot of research on internet and found Islam's perspective on masturbation and Im disturbed that I have been on fault for such a long time. I seriously wish I could go back in time and stop this bad habbit from taking place, I have cried so much and asked Allah for help that I kind of feel that Im in a state of depression now.
Im not a bad man but its just that I wasnt aware of this sin.
At present my state is such that I have stopped masturbation but what happens at night is that I feel the urge to masturbate, I have tried to stop the urge but its really strong and Im having a difficult time stopping it. Sometimes Im dreamingat night and Im masturbating I just dont have any control and in the morning I feel guilty and I feel weakness as well. THe urge subsides when I go to the bathroom and get rid of faeces (bowel movement) but that doesnt happen everyday as some days Im constipated. Kindly help me out with this and let me know how to cure this state that Im in.
Now I also have a fear inside me thatif I marry a woman I want be able tokeep her sexually happy and that my marriage might end and thats the reason why Im not marrying any girl right now, I first want to recover from this habit and weakness. What should I do Im in deep trouble and I cant even discuss this with any one openly please share anything that can help me.?

There is nothing like "recover from this habit".you're a man and sexual urge is natural.so get a wife immediately.I could have adviced you to try mut'a marriage first to see how it goes before you make it permanent marriage.mu'ta marriage is a mercy from many sins for those who can't abstain and yet cannot permanently settle down,especially youth.

There is no need too to be sad.Allah (swt) is merciful and will not throw you into punishment for what you didn't know.just pray,seek forgiveness and change your ways.if you're sincere God will forgive you.don't feel depressed is my advice to you;instead use your time productively to do what will make you happy positively.

The problem you face is common with many young muslims when they get exposed to filth in our society. They get addicted and can't find a way out. This is my practical advice for you.

1. Do not be alone: Whenever you are alone, you are lunch for shaitan... Start playing sport or going to the mosques. Anything that will keep you from being alone.

2. Change habits: Identify the things that lead you to such steps, If it is movies or TV, stop watching movies and change your TV schedule... Start looking at the habits that you must change to change youself.

3. Fast: Fast as much as you can. It is narrated by al-Bukhari and Muslim from Abdullah Ibn Massoud ( may Allaah be pleased with him) that the Prophet Muhammad (Blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: "O young people! Whoever among you can marry, should marry, because it helps him lower his gaze and guard his modesty and whoever is not able to marry, should fast, as fasting diminishes one's sexual power".

4. Give charity: Try to increase the charity you give because it is a purifier.

5. Repent and make dua: Repent to Allah sincerely and make plenty of dua.... Allah is the only one from who help comes

6. Do not give up hope: You might fall many times but keep repenting and striving to become better

7. Get better company: Get people that will strengthen you and help you rid yourself of the addiction

Getting married is not an automatic cure, work on ridding yourself from your addiction to filth and you will be happier in your marriage.

^I am thinking in addition to the above that OP needs medical help. So go to the hospital and detail what you have said here. I wish you the best.

I wil advice u to lower ur gaze n desist from watching porn if ur a fan, even naked girls on d streets, ur kind of friends matters not saying u av bad friends o buh its good to be wit friends dat reminds u of Allah,visit islamic circles n d like n more importantly PRAY hard(not talking of 5 daily alon),....I knw its nt easy buh uve overcom d harder part by making up ur mind of refraining from d act. when ever dat urge arouse, stand up make wudu n pray few rakats,make dua, seek refuse in Allah from satan d outcast n most importantly broda get married if u av d means n inshallAllah ur story wil b a daawah to odas

If self service is difficult to abandon, then Mut'ah will be near impossible to discontinue. Indulging in it will be deadly
I have seen a documentary where somebody extolled the virtues of Mut'ah and recommended it to a congregation
He was asked how many of his daughters had done it. His countenance changed. He retorted; "what kind of question is that ....?"
It shows nothing but hypocrisy. Nobody who is .....will allow his daughter to be intimate with a man for the time being
