Sarah is a girlfriend I met during my service year, we call,chat on bbm and facebook occasionally. One day she pinged me and said her elder brother would love to chat wit me,I agreed and since then we became friends even though he has never seen me except my picture. He also calls/texts me(normal paroles). Anyway he wants 2 meet me someday and startup something though he is aware that I have a man! Now one day at the early stage of our acquaintance he called and asked why I hadn't been online for some days and I answered that my subscription had expired! He didn't even waste time, he sent me credit for my bis! When I received it i did the 'yimu' mouth sign, smiled and said: see this mugu! . A couple of seconds later I hated myself 4 that thought/gesture, I mean d guy was just being good to me,someone he has never met nor has any guarantee of meeting!! WhY would I just hate on him like that? Why would I have such a pathetic thought about him?

It got me thinking,

ladies, I don't know if its our nature or nurture that programmed us this way, But I feel that despite all the sad issues about our men(we aren't saints either), they are also surprisingly nice(I mean check d little things they do for us like@busparks,market,churches,parties and all that. They are more considerate than us,don't u think? trying to please us @every oPportunity they get! Do you think he doesn't know that you are "chopping" him? he ain't that stupid-yet d guy keeps pleasing you? I mean think about it for a second! Why are we getting carried away with the "I get sense pass u" game? We think they do not know,but they know that we do not know that they know!! So who is winning the game? Whether they have ulterior motives or not(just be nice wise and not wicked wise) Most guys indeed are reeeeally awesome...that he spends on you anyhow doesn't mean he is gullible- it just might be that he has a good heart/generous nature! If I were a man,I'd feel terrible about myself if one damsel I admire is calling me that name or something worse!! let's not turn d goodness of their hearts into labeling them as MUGUs... I know I have been guilty of that notion,but I've decided to stop,its really not fair to them. Nice guys please do not change for no Ms wrong. Keep being nice till u meet Ms right.

i am a nice person, and i love helping people. there was a day i was going to a friends place at night and this girl walked up to me and pleaded with me to walk her to her house which i did and when we got to her place she pleaded with me to wait a little that she wanted me to escort her and her roommate back to the road (the place is usually dangerous at night)i still agreed like a robot and waited for them to pack their bags(they where going for a weekend party at a boyfriends place). now after we got to the road they called a taxi and wanted to take a drop but they did not have enough funds. so without them asking i gave the driver 3500 and they thanked me and wanted my no even when i refused they insisted and i gave them. But since that day whenever they call me its usually for one favour or the other. they see me as their ATM. i tell u, this girls have never called to ask me how i am doing. But like my friend says 'you cant use a cup to drain an ocean'.My point is because i met some hungry cheap bb girls does not mean that i should change my personality and stop being nice to people, even though they tend to abuse it.

It beats my imagination to know that a gurl would be this open... Its really bizarre and startling. Anywayz, I love the way you took the blame, as well as let other gurlz know that guyz can be very sweet and super-nice but at the end of the day such guyz are taken as Alhajis... and it ain't fair cos some of these guyz might just be naturally nice and have good heart / intentions but a typical Naija gurl sees such a person as an Office...
