I also asked you to address a few things I observed - reminder: where you read a "sex contest" in the Book of Esther - did you demonstrate you were willing to discuss or reason?

These comments are to help you drop your facade and be real. Of course, you do not need anyone's "help", and that is why comments will be the first few things you will read until you demonstrate a level of willingness to drop your mendacity and sit down for some fine discussion, if you care.

Actually, I have taken the time to read through them and more - and that's why I expect that you would post some more in new threads as time goes on. If it wasn't for the fact that these issues have been soundly laid to rest so many times while I was reading them, I probably would have ended up with doubts. We used the same quotes as Muslims to "attack" Christians and the Bible. . . until Christ touched my heart in a supernatural way! I can't believe that He could still forgive me for all the bitter things I said against Him and against Christians! It is my sincere hope and prayer that you may come to experience His love as well.

You see my dear, if things are working out for you it dosent really mean that you know God ,Afterall God is the most gracious and most merciful. There are lots of people today that don't believe in God but have things working out fine for them yet they don't believe that God exist. You are saying christianity has been tried and proven because things wonderful things are happening in your life. You see, there are atheists,herbalists e.t.c that have things working out smoothly for them and can as well say that their various beliefs have been tried and proven. Where the problem lies now is knowing who the true God is.You as a christian say there is one God and yet say that he is three in one. There are so many verses in the Bible that supports only one True God. Please don't twist my words. I never said that I believe in God because wonderful things are happening in my life. Wonderful things are happening in my life because I believe in God.
I also never said that because wonderful things have been happening in my life therefore Christianity has been tried and proven. Christianity has been tried and proven even before I came to be on this earth. The prophecies are there, they all came to pass. However, personally, I know for a fact that Christianity is true and Christ is the way,the truth, and the life.

It is worse than that. There's nothing wrong in making reference to other people's materials as long as one quotes the source and presents his own original thoughts in discussions. We would have to ask you to scrap the entire concept of Islam fom the Qur'an - because there is no place where Jesus was ever called a Muslim! Yeah, I know that a lot of people have imagined that several verses in the Qur'an say so; but on closer scrutiny, we find that it was all made up!

If this hide-and-seek games you Muslims play are the best you can offer, you are not presenting an intelligent argument at all. The Trinity involves God being known and addressed as FATHER - and both the OT and NT have stated that in bold terms! Start from there - and you will see the Deity of the Son in both the OT and NT as well; and that will inevitably lead you to the very Person of the Holy Spirit - again well attested to in both the OT and NT!

Even if one begins with God being known as FATHER, where do you begin, olabowale? Does the Qur'an anywhere state that God is known as FATHER? Shall we then jettison the revelations of the prophets in preference for what the Qur'an denies? Would that not immediately render the entire Qur'an untennable by your own argument?

Please just smart up and let's see where Muhammad ever called 'Allah' by the name "FATHER" as is clearly revealed by the OT prophets! Starting from there, we can then go on and see what exactly the OT prophets have said about the Deity of the Son of God!

This is interesting - and it would be my pleasure to enter into that discussion and present you with a very good argument. As a starter, I would like any Muslim who has been plagiarizing Ahmed Deedat on John 1:1 to kindly proffer answers to these simple questions:

(a) which of the Greek terms in John 1:1 is properly used for God?

(b) what is the meaning of "ton theon"?

(c) what does theos mean?

I've brought these questions forward from the thread on Trinity, because the same Mark 12 verse 29 will help Muslims see how unfortunately Deedat has glommed them!

You need to pray for wisdom and understanding, and also pray for the Holy spirit to teach you God's word. There are some certain things which you wrote that makes you contradict yourself. When God said let us make man to rule over the beast and fowls of the air, God knows that he will create those things after man that was why he said so.

Mark 12 Vs 29 reads : Jesus replied "The most important commandment is this: 'Hear O Isreal! The Lord our God is the one and only Lord".

Now I presume you want to rubbish the validity of the trinity right? Now here is the answer.
John 10 Vs 30. says "The father and I are one."
Acts 4:12 says "There is salvation in no one else! There is no other name in heaven for people to call on to save them.
Rom 10:9 says "For if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
If you read up a little in John 10: 27 it says "My sheep recognise my voice; I know them, and they follow me."
So you see, I dont expect you to recognise the truth: God's word since you dont know God. But note that your unbelief in the truth doesnt make the truth false. According to Acts 4: 12, Muhammed cant save you. Since Muhammed cant save you, his word the quaran cant save you either.
