INFO Thanks for the reply.Yes I know it is totally free but what I want to know in addition is that would one be able to connect easily with a 0 naira balance using the celtel trick cos I know that with the glo trick if u have 0 naira in your phone you will have some difficulty connecting hence u should have some kobos on your phone

Change the access point on your packet data to wap.ng.celtel.com and change your pc connection user name to wap password to wap then once you're connected, use the Ultra Surf thingy before any other thingy

Note: always use Ultra Surf before launching any internet explorer o. Otherwise:

Change proxy settings on the Ultra Surf from auto-detect proxy to manual proxy settings. Use 172.18.254.5 and port 8080 Go to internet properties - connections then settings of the connection. Make sure it 172.18.254.5 and port 8080 that is present there and check the settings under advance, clear anything you find under exceptions (i use Internet Explorer 7.0) before you try again. You can try a system restart but if problem persist, change your settings back has it was before now.

A little research from my side, Hmmm it is not new sha! If u dont have ultra surf,get opera web browser.With it u can browse with selltel em em es without hiccups. But to download large files u need a download manager.Just copy the download link to it and you are good to go. Note: u have to input selltel's proxy n port in them.

1)Guys,pls I have a problem.I noticed that whenever I want to connect to celtel em em s, i have to dial the connection 2,3 and at times before I can get connected and also browse.Is there a solution to this?
2)I tried opera and firefox and yet those sites that used to be blocked on internet explorer without using Ultrasurf are also blocked on opera and firefox without using Ultrasurf

Sorry for the break in transmission. As usual, its due to circumstances beyond my control. Well, i got good news for yal. While testing my hands on celtel, I was able to get a working proxy server address. Way faster than 172.18.254.5 8080. I'm so glad i was able to really do some raw stuff on my own.
As for the overclocking stuff, well its simply like this. Most systems in general are made to work on certain restricted basics, hence stuff like *FCC COMPLIAINT*, meaning that the system is made for condusive use only.
However, such limit can be bypassed and made to work at extreme levels. At a research test some years back, mobile bluetooth limit(100meters) was bypassed, seeing it receiving signals from way over a hundred feet. i can't remember the site where i got that now, but anyway, for some mobile phones, overclocking includes enhanced vocal clarity, boosted signal reception, and optimised data transfer. in order to save battery power and life span, these features were disabled in most phones. Guess it was improved for 3G phones or something.

Like i said, it could complicate the function of the phones; the makers aint dumb. Its like giving a kid A-level maths to solve. The phones might just go on strike(crash!) for your benefit.
