Gurus in the house pls come to my rescue,I have not been able to
log in to my yahoo mail a/c for the past two weeks,my password
and username are correct,but i dont really know what is goin on
When i try to correct this problem,it is asking for either my
security answer or my alternative e-mail address.
The problem now is that i don't remember the security answer
again and the owner of the alternative mail that i used when i
opened the account is no more on this planet.
I have been using this e-mail add for the past nine years,so many
things are attached to it,the add is what am using on my CV,a day
won't pass without me logging in to check my mails,in short the
e-mail add has gone far and wide,even beyond the shore of this
country.
Fellow nairalanders,How do i go abt this? is there any other way i
can log in to my yahoomail a/c or is there a way i can get in touch
with yahoo through there e-mail address or contact? Somebody
should please help,i have not been my self for the past two weeks
and i must confess,my world is attached to this email add,I need a
solution as soon as possible because i av tried the solutions that i
know by trying to logging in through Facebook,all to no

Am facin d'same tin too, its askin me a security question which i never set in the false place.."Who is ur favourite aunt"..am just tired of this yahoo pple Oº°˚˚°ºh, for the past one month i avent bin able to log in to my a/c..

If you have been logging it to the account b4 with no prob, that means it's Ip problem, it normal happen when you use foriegn ip (vpn) I will advise you check the ip of the system you want to login into by visit www.whatismyipaddress.com if it shows naija then u can login but if not Naija subscribe to mtn 2 hours plan and check ur mail without proxy and vpn.
Cyber cafe normally use proxy and vpn on their system for security purpose.

You can equally try login it with tor, but if it didn't allow u reconnect the tor and try again.

But if it continues after using 9ja ip, let me know.
I have another suggestion.

It's not general, open my mail this morning on my android phone.

It's from the opera u are using.

Moreover the guy seeking for sol is using pc.

There is solution. I had the same problem but found a
way round it. i won't go into details why this happens.
Yahoo! sucks these days, I'll advise you do mail forwarding
to your gmail. Coz no one knows when they'll mess up completely.

THE SOLUTION: Simply login using your Yahoo! messenger.
When you login, click on the Yahoo Mail Icon (the one that
looks like an envelope) located at far right (the 4th menu
bar from top).

You'll be prompted whether to sign in automatically to your
yahoo mail anytime you click on any yahoo services. Click
on yes, and it will take you to your mail.

Pls let me know when you succeed in ,loging in.

Although, Yahoo has been very reliable over the years but I think they just have some little hitches to sort out.
A lot of persons have had similar problem of lately.
However, just as mentioned and described by Edwin, using yahoo messenger
can easily overcome the login problems.

But let me add that you can also login using your facebook account if you had already
connected both accounts prior to when these problems started.
