The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) on Wednesday said it has concluded plans to drag the radical Islamic group, Boko Haram, before the International Criminal Court.

The doubt however, is how the umbrella body of Christians will pursue the charges against a generally faceless group.

Speaking on Wednesday at the opening of the National Executive Council Meeting of the Association in Awka, the Anambra State capital, CAN President Ayo Oritsejafor, also noted that it was high time the Federal Government pronounced the group a terrorist organisation.

The nation’s Christians’ leader said: “We at CAN are strongly considering pressing charges against the Boko Haram sect for crimes committed against Christians at the International Criminal Cour,t and we will commence soon.”

“The Federal Government should designate the Boko Haram sect as a foreign terrorist group.”

“We will not encourage Christians to carry arms, but we have always called on Christians and the churches to defend and protect themselves. The way the sect is succeeding in its attacks, it is obvious that it is not done yet.”

Oritsejafor who is also the Founder of Word of Life Bible Church, asked Northern Governors to do more in tackling the uprising of the sect.

“We call on the Governors of the 19 Northern states to come together and hold a meeting to know the fate of their people who are being killed in the north.”

“Without the measures put in place by the Southern Governors, there will be reprisal attacks every day. So why shouldn’t the Northern Governors put in the same measures?” Oritsejafor queried.

Those of you writing off this guy as lacking in intellectual capacity may have to think twice about that.
It is not impossible to drag a faceless group to court.... !!
However, BH is not faceless! Shekau and co are its faces and these can be targeted by the UN for crimes against humanity
Remember Kony? Whenever he shows himself, he is done for... no matter how long it takes. Same can also apply to BH leaders

Just my view anyway.

Four questions I have for this PUN.K HEAD PASTOR:

1. How do "Christians" defend themselves against people with automatic weapons and IEDS using their bare hands?

2. Is it only "Christians" that are being murdered

3. Why are you dividing the country into two stating that the southern governors are preventing reprisals...HOW do you know Pun.k head?

4. Are you really a "Christian"?

Shaking my head for your dumb head followers!
