In case u've not being following recent rankings, this year 4icu ranked us as the first in Nigeria: and for the first time we entered top 20 in Africa. Early this year, two of our students won the national university debate a team of education and law student. About two weeks ago Ms Tobi Phillips won Miss world university. I want you to know I'm talking about recent happenings and not old glory.

A guy mentioned admission statistics, according to my state gov, mimiko, "facts are sacred". If you're close to an Akokites u must have heard them refer to their sch as "university of 1st choice". The fact is according this yr jamb statistics, Unilag still leads other universities in terms of number of applicants followed by unizik which has been the case over the years.

Side attractions: unilag is the only Nigerian university with an aquatic environ. You need to see our lagoon front. Unilag library has the highest collections of books, journals in Nigeria but Unn has the biggest library in terms of size; what is the essence of size without content. Our senate building is the tallest in Africa. Do u know we also have a robotics lab? I'm willing to write more for the love of my sch. Greatest Akokites!

Great Ife is strictly for the outstanding ones. In a yoruba connotation, I would say its only for those that are strong and brave enough to sleep outside in the cold. Have you heard of the clash of the titans? That's what you get in IFe.

If you are sure your academic capability is well above average then OAU is for you. if its just average you will rule in IBADAN and if its just below average then you will be most comfortable in MAULAG.

University of Ibadan...First and still the best.....which has d highest number of Professor's in Nigeria...according to our president he said and i quote..UI is ours..if u are not a UITE u might have taught by a UITE in one way or the other,,,,The UNiversity was opened in 1948 by the reighning Queen of England(Queen Elizabeth II)...It housed the oldest and first National Library in NIgeria (Kenneth Dike Library)..Am proud to be a UIteoooooo....64 gbosas for uites in da aus..
