Thousands of angry Islamists came out to riot an appearance by Kim Kardashian in Bahrain, nearly attacking her before police shot tear gas at them,

according to video uploaded to the internet.


The Islamists were angry at the appearance of such an immoral figure in the deeply religious country of Bahrain, according to press reports.


She certainly is not everyone's cup of tea, but never before has the presence of Kim Kardashian started a riot.
Just hours after the TV star gushed about her impressions of Bahrain, riot police were forced to fire tear gas at an angry mob.


More than 1,000 hardline Islamic protesters had gathered to denounce the 31-year-old’s presence in the Gulf kingdom of Bahrain.


The fighting took place just before Kardashian’s Bahrain branch opened its Millions of Milkshakes store.
Protesters were seen chanting "God is great" near the shopping complex in Riffa, about 12 kilometers south of the capital, Manama.


The protesters were ultimately dispersed by riot police.

Kardashian previously published praising comments about Bahrain on her twitter account, calling it "the most beautiful place on earth."
