2Rich4U: Yes it is. The first owner had it from 2002 - 2005 and only put 5500 miles on it. There has to be a reason for this. However, everything else looks consistent and there were only 4 owners. |

Actually a rebuilt title is different from a salvage title, a rebuilt title refers to a car that was a total loss and the it was rebuilt and passed some strict criteria. a salvage title does means the vehicle was bought in a damaged state. Once again a vehicle with a rebuilt title is a vehicle that has been certified by the government as fit to drive it is very different from a salvage title. Also a total loss vehicle does not mean that the car was damaged beyond repair, it just means that it was more economical for the insurance company to pay an equal value to the owner of the car instead of fixing it. For example if you own an older car and you were to get hit, more than likely if the damage is close to the estimated value of the car then they will declare it a total loss. Also a car that was stolen and then was recovered after the insurance company had already paid for a new car for the customer will be branded as a salvage car. you need to look at the title and it will specify the type of damage or the reason for the salvage title. |
