Did ui accept picking their school as second choice

So certain,the problem is just that you must have a good jamb score and o'level result depending on which 1 wud b used 4 shortlistn dis year...hope my ansa is helpful...pls bookmark dis page for easy access

UI admission exercise for the past two year as bin varying,year b4 UI used the method of o'level result in shortlisting candidate in wich You will add up your best 5 subject in your o'level that are related to your course(A1=6,B2=5,B3=4,C4=3,C5=2,C6=1),then multiply by 2,then divide your jamb score by 10,then add the two answer together.

But this year UI made use of jamb score in shortlisting candidate that will write its post-UTME

After the shorlisting through either method you will then be called up to write the post utme exam in which you have to score 50% and above before you can be offered admission

The Points below are the official post-utme cut-off points, for Invitation to the 2012/2013 University of Ibadan(UI) post-utme.
Kindly note that consideration of candidates to fill-up the locality and ELDS criterias of JAMB (asterisked below) is done by selecting a candidate from each state of the federation with the highest scores (for locality) and same is done for ELDS (Educationally Less Developed States).

UNDERSTANDING THE CUT-OFF
• The First mark above stands for the merit cut off.
• The second following it, stands for the Locality/
catchment cut-off
• The third and final represent the ELDS cut-off
marks.

UI used double styl to shortlist durin last admissn.ui used only jamb result for sum ppl and both o.level and jamb for d rest but ui is going to use both o.level and jamb result next year.take note

great! Food tech has almost d lowest cut off in tech faculty after wood engineerin.just try and get 220 and above to be on d safer side and i'l advice u to choose electrical because of dat ur great o.level result buh u must pass xcellently in ur post utme

Note UI did not use O level subjects for last admission but only JAMB UTME cut offs for different department were used. Be prepared 2 score high score in UTME and blast Post UTME. Last Post UTME cut off was 50 because of mass failure. It is Possible. Just do ur home work. U can call me on 08036430934 : Start ur preparation now. Success.

IF u like blieve or not .I know about 3 pple DAT didn't meet d cutoff BT was shortlisted Inc me.wen d olevel was calculated d AGG was above d cutoff

O'level was not used during this year's post-utme, all my friends that chose u.i were called, despite their poor o'levels...but they all had high score in utme....

Hmmm...if u lyk beleive what i am about to say or not....

U.i. Used 2 styles for shortlisting dis year...they used jamb alone for pple wif awaiting result and pple with low o'level points....while they used both o'level and jamb for pple wif gud o'level points...all my friends dat were admitted dis year into medicine did not even meet 262..the cutoffs dat u.i. listed was for pple with awaiting result and low o'level point......
U.i. Wl never stop using o'level..just dat they can change the style they use...
Like dis year,they used 50/50 instead of the 60/40 they have been using all these years...so,stop dougbting the fact..u.i. Used both dis year..

I just finished my OND this year. How soon can I get a direct entry form into UI. Pls I need assistance. And is it possible to write jamb utme and also apply for direct entry at the same time
