sexkillz: Wow! What can I say? I woke up, ready to do my usual rounds, and saw my name on the front page. Where to begin. . . firstly, a big thank you to my fellow moderators, who nominated and voted for me. I do consider this an honor as all of us are an integral part in making Nairaland Nigeria's number one website. The fact that many of you considered me worthy of something like this is veli mind-blowing. Thank you so much.

I am proud of the changes that we have noticed in the Romance section. It was, as Mukina so eloquently put it, overtaken by railroad workers, sugar mummy spammers, lewd posters, love scammers, etc., but it is lively once again with active participants. O di ro easy but the section has come a long way. We should all be proud. We had successful Miss Nairaland competitions in June and December 2012, as well as a successful Mr Nairaland that concluded just over a week ago. I am glad that many of you partook in those competitions and made the competitions what they were, as well as the Romance section in general. I could not have done it alone. So, thank you again.

Granted, we have witnessed a good number of successes in that section this year, however, there is still plenty of work to be done. The Romance section is not as romantic as it ought to be. It should be a place where Nairalanders can actually discuss love and dating or seek advice without fear of confrontation or insult. The fighting needs to be reduced to a minimum. Like I said in my interview, moderators cannot do the work alone. A level of cooperation is required from each and every one of us. I am asking, once again, for the cooperation of Nairalanders to make the Romance section more amicable and welcoming. I vow to continue to moderate the section to the best of my ability. It is veli possible, but we all have our parts to play. Ehen, so make we do am like that.
