North is more peaceful than South? You must have really spent years in a maximum facility, you have definately lost touch with reality... Aside from sabon gari when your governor 'Kwankwaso' comes to drink every night, where in kano is safe again?

and are u d escort dat follow him to drink everyday. My guy, remove sentiment frm ur mind. I mean wat i said. Yes, north is more peaceful xcept cases of crisis here and there and dis recent BH issue.
And as i said there are many states in d north whose dont xperience crisis at all. SKT is an example. Due, purge ur mind of hatred.

@OP and others, can u please take some pics of the north for us?

Residential and commercial areas, as well as places of relaxation and the people please.

I was born and raised outside Nigeria, the furthest 'North" I have been is plateau state, which was peaceful at that time, to the point of being dull.....lol

The north is one region we rarely get to see on the net. You can help us put an end to that.

The region deserves some limelight too.

With all due respect why not save your time and energy and just place the bird aboard a naval helicopter. In ten minutes it will be dead, skinned and roasted.

My two naira. No pun intended. Honest.
Re: Sokoto Meat Market (Chicken Section) by Nobody: 2:46pm On Dec 17, 2012
Igbos are the reason why there's "one nigeria". It's sad that igbos still pay the price for that notion. chicken sale here is according to size. That size is also #1200 here. I must say that place have good roads...kudos

That chicken is like maybe 1.5kg in weight and it is 1200 naira which is like 7.5 US dollars. This works out to be about 5 dollars per KG and people are saying it is cheap.
By what standard is it cheap. Where in the world do people buy whole chicken at 5 USD per kg? It is damn expensive, we have not even added the cost of dressing the chicken

I'm sure you mean Brixton and not Brighton.....lol Brighton is a nice area, just outside London.

In any case, both Peckham and Brixton have some pluses to them. Brixton is where the rich young whites like to hang out and parts of Peckham are actually quite nice. The areas before you get to the market and the council estates.

Tnx all for your commendations and criticism. I promise to shock you all on my next thread. About roads in Sokoto. Trust me you wont believe some of these Roads are actually in Nigeria. Welcome to Northern Nigeria. Where a state Governor can spend a whole Annual budget on Road Construction Alone! Besides Uyo, Calabar and perhaps Enugu. No other road networks in the South Can match those of the North.

Indeed. Dressing the chicken is even the most expensive part. Can't imagine how much you would have to spend on the gown, shoes and wig.

What type of course will you study inside a meat market?
