Nice one! What's the worst that could happen?....besides an encounter with kidnappers or sharks that is!

2 hours boat ride in the middle of nowhere? I don't get it.

Why risk their lives to attend this funeral by any means necessary? Was it a must for them to attend?

My exact thought, why did all these politicians, celebrities, activists, senior civil servants invest so much effort to attend the burial of a man that has lived his life and wished to be laid to rest by immediate family.
Can someone please tell me if pa Douglas was a statesman I'm still confused.

Sometimes, a tiny voice within you may warn you not to do a certain thing, its better to adhere to such warning than regreting later. That may be what happened to him.

Why are there so many dignitaries at this funeral. Something about this is weird.

two hours on a boat, guarded by armed military men, isnt really safer than travelling by other means with the same guard.

but, choices are sometimes limited, i suppose.

Serious wahala. Gani has come a long way from being an OPC gangster, to his shameless surrender to police, and now an Otunba with police escorts. Crime does pay in this country. #justsaying cheesy cheesy grin grin grin grin

Everybody is a frigging 'Otunba' in Yorubaland. Sad how Nigerians remain obsessed with senseless bigmanism and lugubrious titles. I cringe every time I read or hear "honourable" and "excellency" used obseguiously for our politicians whereas I see Britons accosting the London Mayor in the Street via calling him Boris.

There was no helicopter for him because they've all been boarded by more important people.
