Wow, I never knew u all were following this thread. And here I was thinking it was such a bore. Thanks @all. Lol @gendebs, 8/10 is still very cool. I am working on a family story, I know u all will love it. Its a new concept where d event will all happen in just a day and in one house, its going to b suspence filled and quite intruiging, jst watchout. Once again thanks and keep the comments coming. |

Frank, i noticed a disparity in the physical stature of rogers . Initial you portrayed him as at best of average built and height but later from sean's .description , you portrayed him as being big. That is contradictory! |

IZUKWU: Frank, i noticed a disparity in the physical stature of rogers . Initial you portrayed him as at best of average built and height but later from sean's .description , you portrayed him as being big. That is contradictory! thanks for the observation. the fact is that i intended to make him big, in fact i formally described him as big until a friend advised that i should rather make him smallish against what a lot of people would expect. perhaps i didn't really carefully go through my edit. i will go back and read once again. |

Re: The Tenth Generation by Nobody: 7:50pm On Jan 19, 2013 |
Obviously you have the idea of a nice story here but since it's a novel(you called it that yourself) you must learn to "show" and not "tell", because as it seems, you wrote the entire 'novel' in a short story format. For instance, "Ikenna and Jeniffer watched as Sean was taken away in the police vehicle" could have been "Ikenna and Jeniffer watched as the police vehicle kicked and zoomed off. The black van raised a cloud of dust which forced them to look away." Remember I just gave an instance. Nice effort though. |

Re: The Tenth Generation by frank317: 8:42pm On Jan 19, 2013 |
@denoskiz Nice piece of advice there. Thnks. Thats why I mostly consider myself a good story teller but not a good writer, however I am still learning the art of writing. Like in my story cyber lover, I effected such corrections after critically doing the editing together with my editor, trust me his contributions are quite similer to ur suggestions and I will definatly trust him to do the same justice as u advice.I am still glad u like ma story, thanks |
Re: The Tenth Generation by Nobody: 8:47pm On Jan 19, 2013 |

Re: The Tenth Generation by Nobody: 9:02pm On Jan 19, 2013 |
frank3.16: It's ok. Story telling is a talent and writing an acquired ability that keeps on improving with time. You have the basics so never feel hindered. |
Re: The Tenth Generation by frank317: 9:20pm On Jan 19, 2013 |
boolet: Beware of plagiarists Ahhh, don't bother about that. They can plagiarise my story not a whole lot of stuff in ma head. However, I can't wait to catch the theif though, got a nice piece of surprised for em. Beside, so u think ma story is worth pkagiarising? |
