THE Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) in Oyo State has described 2012 as the year of peace in the state, according to the ACN Publicity Secretary, Dauda Kolawole, who felicitated with Governor Abiola Ajimobi, Christians and the entire residents of Oyo State on the occasion.

The party also commended the governor on his administration’s transformation agenda, which it said has seen Oyo State witness a year free of major crisis and chaos since the recent times.

“In less than two years, the administration of Governor Abiola Ajimobi has touched the life of every individual through all the development projects which, by the time the projects are completed, Oyo State would have regained its pace-setter status,” he said.

“The purposeful leadership and administrative qualities of Ajimobi is highly commendable. This is the first time in the history of Oyo State that we are celebrating various festivals in a year with minimal chaos and insecurity. This year 2012 is a wonderful year.”

I celebrate with my people of Oyo, this years crises was the least the state has ever recorded in the last ten years.
