Otukpo goes agog as 2face, Blackface, Terry G, Monica return home


Otukpo, the ancestral home of Idoma land is set to come alive as the ante of entertainment is about to take a centre stage in the ancient Idoma City.

Leading Idoma entertainers from around the country have all returned home for yet another trail blazing event tagged: Miss Idoma Beauty Pageant 2012.

Leading the entertainers to the ‘talents based of the nation’ is Nigeria’s finest artiste and African Queen crooner, 2face Idibia who will headline the show alongside his ex-band member, Blackface, Akpako Master, TerryG and Monica Ogah.

Interestingly, the event is expected to unite the duo of Blackface and Tuface who have been at loggerheads.

Aside the battle for the Miss Idoma crown, prominent Idoma sons and daughters would also be honoured at the 3rd edition of the show which is slated for December 27, at the Vannapo Holiday Resort, GRA Otukpo, Benue State.

Minister of Interior, Comrade Abba Morro, Mr. Igoche Mark, Yours Sincerely and others would bag awards in various categories.

Similarly, 2face, Sound Sultan, Ikechukwu, Vector would be thrilling fans at the 2012 edition of Mark D Ball, an annual Idoma project supported by the Senate President, David Mark, I.G Mark, Ada Mark Foundation for Girls, Society Against Prostitution and Child Labour, VerMark Gas, AGIP, Elito, Reynolds Construction Company, El Toro Sportswear, M&M Kids, Iyaache Communications, Thomas Media Inc., RedBox Inc.
