The outgoing year in sports had an overwhelming number of fascinating moments, it was the year of great Olympics and also the year recorded some firsts.

From Andy Murray winning his first grandslam by defeating Novak Djokovic to Chelsea lifting their first Champions League trophy and the noisy neighbour (ManCity) winning the bragging right over ManU in the english premier league and not forgetting the merciless one (Lionel Mercy) breaking Gerd Muller's record of goals scored in a calender year.

Just to mention, but few, feel free to add yours.
