Punishment
Akiyama Akira looked at his sleeping lover. She looked so peaceful and beautiful. Her pregnancy gave her skin a luminous glow. He liked how her black hair fell around her face. She looked like an angel under the moon’s glow. She was his angel. He had wrapped an arm around her swollen stomach, loving the fact that it was his child inside of her. It was just a damn shame, however, that her parents didn’t appreciate that they had a grandchild on the way and they had just simply abandoned their daughter and their unborn grandchild.
The man wondered how he had ever loved Aiko’s mother. He wondered what he felt for her mother was even love. Perhaps that so-called love was nothing more than infatuation because he no longer felt any attraction or affection for the woman. That was okay with him now that he knew that Amaya Emi was not the woman he thought he had fallen for. He knew that Emi had no idea that he was the father of her daughter’s child.

“Hmm…”

Aiko heard Akira and opened her eyes. She saw that he had been awake for the last hour and was deep in thought.

“Something wrong, Kira-kun?” She asked.

decided to hand down the ultimate punishment…well, that was debatable.

“Go back to sleep, Aiko-chan.”

“Okay.” She agreed tire“No, I was just thinking about something. Sorry if I woke you.”

He was actually thinking about passing retribution upon Aiko’s parents. He HAD done so in the past when he didn’t get any money from people in the black market. He had hired hit-men in order to do the jobs he required in order to get that money and then he would pay them for the job and their silence.

“Oh!” Aiko cried.

Akira had felt the baby kick and he nearly fell apart once he got to feel his unborn child move for the first time. He found himself moving towards Aiko’s stomach and kissing it. He had never felt this way in his forty years of existence or in his failed marriage. A small, slender hand ran through his hair.

“You’re completely different from the ***hole that you were.” Aiko said.

“Maybe…” Akira replied vaguely.

He remembered the sarcastic note he had left in her garter nearly a year ago and he still laughed about it. However, he needed to focus on Aiko’s parents. After all, she was cast out to a woman’s shelter, where he ultimately found her. They deserved to be punished. Whether he dly.

Akira was sitting in his office, waiting for the man he hired for an ‘assignment’ to return. He left Aiko alone in bed this morning, but he left her a note and a small, cherry blossom tree she could plant outside in his massive backyard. Owning a mansion did have its perks. He smiled as he thought about her reaction to his gift.

“Akiyama-san.” A deep voice called.

“Come in.”

A tall, masked man that dressed entirely in black entered the office. Akira pulled out his checkbook and wrote down the promised pay for the man. It was at the last minute that the CEO decided to spare the lives of Aiko’s parents. Instead, he decided to have his hired help to destroy their home and their restaurant. The both of them were to be destroyed in fires. It would look like that it was a faulty wire was to blame for the destruction of both.

“What’s the verdict?”

“The residence is burning and the restaurant has been destroyed.”

“Excellent.”

Akira handed the man his payment and he bowed respectfully before vanishing out of side. The CEO sat back in his leather chair. Aiko and her honor had been avenged.

Will She Accept Me?
Akira thought about proposing to Aiko and it wasn’t because she was pregnant. No. To him, it was because she brought something new into his life. Alright, he had to admit that his sex life had vastly improved ever since he met her. It was hotter and sexier, something he hadn’t had since his early twenties. He wasn’t the type of man to mince his words when it came to that type of stuff. Aiko was half his age, that was true, but he loved taking care of her. She never threw a temper tantrum like his ex-wife had always done when she didn’t gether way (or his money). She respected him and not just because he
was older. She saw him as a partner and treated him like one and she was willing to learn anything that he wanted to teach her.
She’s more of an adult than my ex-wife.
Speaking of, the harpy was constantly nagging him for support even though he was not legally obligated to. She had found out about Aiko as well and that doubled his headaches and stress. She was harping on him to find a real woman and not a child. That comment sent his blood pressure through the roof. Aiko saw his face get so red that she thought he would have a heart attack. Thankfully, and he had justlearned about her other skill, he had his young, pregnant, lover to relieve him of that immense stress. She was a masseuse. She was terrific and she could easily make money with her looks alone.
“Oh, hell no!” Akira said out loud.
That was a downside he hadn’t realized until now. Too many men would want to book her as their masseuse and for a variety of different reasons that he didn’t really care to think about. If there was one thing he hated, it was another man looking at his woman. Yes, he considered Aiko his woman. Akira dug around in his pocket and pulled out a black, velvet box. That contained the engagement ring he recently purchased. He felt that it was simple enough. The diamond was cut into the shape of a heart and there were two smaller heart-shaped diamonds, both a rose color, sitting on both sides of the larger diamond. He took a deep breath.
Will she accept me, an older man?
He would find out, ten minutes later, that she would, indeed, take him as her fiancé/future husband.

The Harpy
“But, Kira-kun!” The harpy whined.
The harpy was Akira’s ex-wife. He rubbed his forehead in frustrationas she squawked into his ear. Ever since she found out about Aiko, shehad been trying to get him back. Her boy toy had recently dumped her for a woman closer to his age and Akira didn’t blame him one bit for leaving her.
He’s probably a lot smarter than I gave him credit for. He thought.
“What could possibly be attractive about a child?”
“Don’t start…” Akira growled.
A pregnant Aiko—currently at eight months—came into the living room after hearing a woman gripe at her future husband. The older woman’s eyes widened and her jaw dropped. Akira couldn’t help but smirk at her surprise. He walked over to his fiancée and put a possessive arm around her. Just to rub it in the older woman’s face, he planted a passionate kiss on Aiko’s lips. Aiko simply smiled up at him before glancing at his ex-wife and frowned.
“So, this is the child you shacked up with?”
“This was the harpy you were married to?”
The two women glared at each other, although it appeared that Aiko was about ready to punch the harpy. Akira couldn’t remember the last time when two women fought over him. He kept a cool face, but internally he wanted to chuckle. It was high school all over again, except there was one woman he wanted and that one woman was wearing his ring and was bearing his child.
“That’s enough.” Akira commanded. “You made your choice to leave…”
“And I was wrong.” The woman said.
“…And I made my choice to move on.”
The older woman just continued to rant. She thought she could win her former husband back. However, it was clear that he wouldn’t leave her for obvious reasons. She was young and sexy and, not to mention, pregnant with his unborn child infant. Just the thought of that made the older woman’s blood boil. She had to come up with some way to win him back, but any ideas that she came up with seemed futile.
“Just leave.” Akira commanded again. “I really don’t want to arrest youfor harassment.”
“Fine, but this isn’t over.”
He knew that it wasn’t over. That woman always liked to make thingsdifficult. He kissed Aiko, who had a fiery look in her eye.
“She’ll definitely be back.” Akira commented.
“Good, cause’ I’m not finished with the harpy.”
Aiko cracked her knuckles, making her fiancé grin broadly. He just loved his spunky and feisty fiancée. Married life with her would be anything but mundane.

Akira sat by his fiancée’s side in the hospital, nursing a lump on his head. His fiancée had gone into labor not too long ago at home. At the first contraction she had, she had jumped and flailed her arms. Her hands had been curled into fists and one of those fists had come intocontact with the side of his head. Sakura had been apologizing ever since she had arrived at the hospital despite her extreme discomfort.
“Accidents happen, Sakura-chan.” He told her.
The young woman had been in labor for a couple of hours now and it was clear that there were no signs of relief for her insight. Akira briefly wondered what life would have been like had he had a child with his ex-wife. He shivered and pushed the thought away. There was no way he was going to go there. He was quite happy with his life with Aiko. She meant everything to him AND she could stand up to his former wife. He snickered.
“You DO realize that I’m in pain, right?” Sakura asked with a pained look.
“I’m not laughing at you, Cherry Blossom.” Akira amended. “I’m thinking about how you stood up to the harpy.”

“That harpy? If she went anywhere near you, I…yikes!”
A really strong contraction hit the young woman and the nurses cameat her scream. Akira kept a hold of his young fiancée’s hand as she began the birthing process.

Akira was glad that he was used to seeing such bloody scenes; otherwise, he probably would have passed out. He wasn’t afraid to admit that. He had never seen such a sight before, but he didn’t care. All he cared about was his fiancée and the squirming bundle in his fiancée’s arms. He didn’t think he would be a father at his age, but he had hoped to be one with his ex-wife as the mother.
Uh, no. Akira shuddered at that thought.
He focused on the tiny carbon copy of himself. Sakura smiled at her fiancé and offered him the chance to hold their little newborn son. Akira swallowed nervously before taking the little one in his arms. He forced himself to relax so he wouldn’t add any distress to his son. The little boy reached out to touch him. The proud father took the offered hand and carefully kissed it. Small fingers slowly wrapped around one of his fingers.
“Hello, Haijime.”
The couple had settled on a name for their unborn son. Sakura was sosure that they were having a son that she didn’t consider a name for a daughter.
“A mother knows.” She had told him one day.
Akira leaned over to kiss his fiancée.

Let's Get Ready to Rumble!
Akiyama Aiko.
That had such a lovely ring to it. She sighed happily as she snuggledinto her husband as they danced their first dance as husband and wife. Everything was so perfect. She gently laid a kiss on his cheek and sighed. It felt like nothing could go wrong. Their little boywas in the nursery with her husband’s mother. The woman adored her little grandson and her daughter-in-law. Akira’s father was a very distinguished and very kind man. He was all for the marriage between his son and the young woman.
“You’re much better suited for my son than what’s-her-face.” The older gentleman said to her.
After their dance, the couple was about to indulge in their weddingcake when they heard a ruckus. Akira was about to investigate when he heard the familiar rasping of his ex-wife’s voice. He rolledhis eyes and was about to round up some of his men to escort her out when Aiko decided to take control of the situation.
“What do you want?” She demanded.
“My former husband, kid.”
Aiko cocked an eyebrow, but said nothing. The older woman was acting like a child herself. She was tempted to throw a punch at the woman, but decided she would bide her time. It wouldn’t be long until a fight would break out.
“Who let you in?” Akira demanded.
“No one, sweetheart.” The woman cooed, making Aiko blanch. “The door was open and I decided to stop by.

The young bride, recovering from going pale, then saw plenty of red when she saw the woman get up close to her husband and put her hand on his face. She stepped in between the two, glaringat the harpy.
“Are you forgetting that you dumped him?” Aiko asked snidely.
“People make mistakes, honey. Dumping him was a mistake.”
“And it cost you, big time.”
“Alright, ladies…”
“Shut up!” The two said at the same time.
Akira knew that it was time to back off. His associates nodded inagreement, silently telling him to back off. The impending fight would resolve itself, although he sensed that his comrades wantedto see a cat fight…not that he blamed them in the least. Quite frankly, he had a feeling that the two women would eventually exchange blows. Unfortunately, his ex-wife just had to show up at his wedding and he wasn’t happy about it and neither was Aiko.
“Look, b****, you had your chance with him. You need to give up.”
“Why should I give him up to a child?”
Aiko cracked her knuckles, but resisted the urge to punch her.
“He only married you because he knocked you up.” She continued.
“That does it…”
The bride finally snapped and delivered a right hook. The harpy managed to stay on her feet and returned the favor. Aiko managed to block the punch and tackled the older woman. She wasn’t going to let her up from off the ground. She twisted the woman’s arm until she begged for mercy. The men finally stepped in, Akira snickering as he pulled his new wife off of his ex-wife. Normally, this would have ended with several assault charges, but everyone was rather entertained (and he wasn’t sorry to admit that, either) that there wouldn’t be any charges pressed against either woman.
“Your wife is a firecracker.”
“That’s why I love her.” Akira said.
He kissed the top of Aiko’s head and pulled her away to the punch table to cool her off. He spent the next five minutes still snickering.
“Don’t ever change, Aiko-chan.”
