General Hospitals Turning 2 Private Hospital. by Princessaleeza: 6:17pm On Jan 03, 2013
Its been long dat i went 2 general hospital. Then if we re sick my mum we ask us 2 go 2 Gbagada General hospital cos its very close 2 our house, and u obtain ur card free. But 2 my surprise yesterday i took my child 2 dis same hospital & i was told dat i av 2 pay N500 4 d card dat was free then. Most of us there complained dat d money is much dat means dat General hospital is turning 2 Private cos nothing is free there again. Atleast N100 is still ok if there looking 4 ways 2 generate money.
After seeing d Doctor, she wrotes 5 drugs on d Prescription Paper wc i took 2 their Pharmacist cos Malaria is free.
Imaine, out of d 5 drugs prescribed by d Doc its only Paracetamol dat they have.I av 2 leave 2 get d drugs from d Pharmacy.
Honestly something is wrong with our govt they use every opportunity 2 get money from d Poor masses.

I've not used the main hospital but their ante-natal clinic is worse than private hospitals. Your husband is mandated to donate a pint of blood before you can carry out registration. Let's not get started on the long delay before you're attended to and the nurses' rudeness. Their bills are just about same as some private hospitals and I've heard they refuse treatment if you can't at least pay a deposit. People still prefer to go there cos of experienced personel.
